I have been living in Belarus for one year now....and yes, it's a very very safe country...at any time of the day or night you can see men or women walking with no fear anywhere. I have been in several cities of Belarus besides where I live and I have never felt threatened or insecure.

These type of cities are dangerous at night, when the gangs move, when i was in serbia (im from novi sad) we were going from a bar at 2am, saw a whole bunch of openly walking skinheads wearing nazi symbols walking down the streets, thats the type of people youll encounter in these type of countries and cities at night time and it can turn really ugly if you look different, on the day its pretty good at most places but at night geez.....

Not all plages are bad, But it’s not like in USA. The most dangerous is likely organised crime. Drug trafficking and human trafficking. You don’t see it. Unsafe to be outside at nighttime, men women get kidnapped, you’re getting robbed. In daytime it’s mostly junkies and pickpocketing/robberies. Guns are illegal in most countries in Europe, but they do very much exist.

There are no dangerous neighbourhood here in Minsk, well compared to Western Europe anyway. You can walk around the streets here without fear of being mugged. Come back to Belarus and make some films here. 🇧🇾

The ironic thing about this video is that it started at possibly the most dangerous part of the city. All the flowers laid out behind them at the beginning were a memorial for the 53 people, mostly young females, that died in that exact subway station in 1999. It started raining really hard and everyone packed into there so aggressively that a bunch of them got trampled to death. I moved to Minsk a couple years ago from Seattle, and you can’t find crime or danger if you go looking for it. This city is great.

The rough parts of Utah! are rougher than this. Rose park, Glendale(slc), west valley, Ogden etc… Utah is one of the nicer places in the USA but it still has some really rough areas
