"Legends often die" ... why you gotta talk about my score like that?

The instrumentals were incredible. That being said, wasn't a fan of the change in lyrics.

TBH, I liked the lyrics by far more than its original ones.

Okay, real talk here. No, this is not more realistic, for fucks sake, I know humanity are usually pieces of shit BUT, just making stuff darker does not make it more realistic. Like, the original song was about how Legend never dies but how no one really thinks or knows about the horror they went through, that is not unrealistic whatsoever. There are a lot of legends in real life and yet no one really knows anything about their inner struggles. Of course there were people that never got remembered by history, doesn't mean the legends don't exist.

And no, I am not knocking their song, it's well done, mind, I personally don't like the change because I find it extremely unfitting compared to the original song and unnecessarily trying to make it more gritty but it is well done and obviously had a lot effort put into it.

Definitely the best Heavy Metal cover of this song. One big reason being vocals, 90% of the others are just men doing vocals with no lady and when the softer parts come it just sounds like a rusty squeak on a bike and the other 9.99% that do have a lady in vocals, they fail at having the gritty sound of Heavy Metal. This is the .1% that does both with the woman at the forefront and the man in the background giving the gritty vocals.

The other reason being the slight lyric change. It’s far more grounded in reality, hitting with the sad fact that those that sacrifice the most to do great things are often forgotten. That, many say they want to reach greatness and be a legend but most don’t want to make the necessary sacrifices to do so. Or fear being forgotten should they be made. And while for some the song may be more depressing this way, those that do have, as the song states, that slightest fire in the deepest pit of your heart, will take it as motivation. That achieving greatness isn’t meant to be driven by some fragile concept such as glory. That you won’t and maybe already don’t have people on your side of the ring chanting for your victory. No hero will save you or give you the goals you seek. That at the end, it’s just you and that fire and should greatness be reached, it’s only because of personal drive and determination. Nothing else.

Im not sure if that was the intention but that’s how I took it.

this confused me till I realized you flipped the perspective of the song to be the opposite of the original meaning. Really smart, enjoyed it very much, would love to see more of this type of content.

This is way better than original, its closer to real life. Imagine how many people who have shaped the course of history we don't even know about, the ones who are in the trenches of time, the ones who's hands built our past and sculpted our present, the unknowns who dared to go where no one had gone before.

That's a little bit depressing, because sometimes you can catch the wind of faith and to ceep moving by listening original. BUT your version have more drive as always! =D
