Hey man, nice video, great source for acquiring android 12 gapps, but there are some steps you did not mention on the raspberry pi 4 specifically to get this to run. It does mention this in the faq that KonstaKang published about booting android on rpi 4. There are two main steps I found that were not mentioned in any video or tutorial, and I feel mentioning this may keep your watchers from being confused. First, you need to hardwire GPIO 21, as well as the parallel negative gpio pin to a breadboard with a switch on the breadboard. Then load your Android os onto a sd card, and then, is a very important step if you do not have a big fancy gaming monitor. Go to the boot folder that is on the newly imaged sd card and delete the file resolution.txt. It mentions all this in konstakangs faq, but if you don't want to spend hours reading and configuring things do these two steps. Also when you boot up the rpi 4 press and hold your hardwired power button to get to the TWRP boot screen, then flash your Gapps from there, and boot up, and bingo.. should work on any RPI 4 with any setup. I am trying your version of the Gapps for this installation so I will comment back to let you know how everything worked. I just thought I would put my input there for novice learners who may not be able to find the hidden steps involved with this.

The faint background music is really annoying. I came to listen to you not to be distracted by annoying background music. Honestly it really distracts from your otherwise interesting video.

No hardware video encoding / decoding, strange. I appreciate Raspberry Pi OS was alone in supporting OMX hardware encoding, but what about the v4l2m2m hardware support built directly into the Linux kernel? As long as Android 12 is based on a fairly recent Linux kernel, then ffmpeg should be able to hardware encode with v4l2m2m, Ubuntu does for example.

I’ve flashed konstakangs rpi4 android 12 to sd card several times and I can’t get sound to work or play store to install.

If you overclock the CPU to 2GHz, your performance will be better than the stock clock of 1.5GHz.
