Joseph Joestar was so good that it made me dislike Part 3 for years because Jotaro was so boring in comparison

The pattern looks a lot like Josephs stand! I wonder if that has any impact on the story.

Really like how part 2s art improves in the second half, comparing it to the beginning chapters makes it so vastly different lmao.

Hamon Hypnosis is used one time before Lisa Lisa used it, it was used by Ceasar in his duel with Joseph. Thats it though.

JoJo is the only series that can get away with having a nazi soldier right before WW2 with a machine gun built into him, yelling about the wanders of German technology and have him be a good guy

The reason why Lisa Lisa couldn't just destroy the stone is because if she did, while the pillar men wouldn't achieve their goal, the good guys wouldn't win either.

Esidisi wouldn't come to the island if the stone wasn't there.

If not for the stone, Kars would just make the vampires kill Joseph and Lisa Lisa, but with the threat if destroying it they were able to arrange a fair fight.

And finally, the stone was used by Joseph to defeat Kars.

If the stone was destroyed, the Pillarmen would just kill Joseph and the others and rule the world anyway, angry that they couldn't achieve their goal, but they would still technically win.

The legend was right, the stone was actually needed to defeat the Pillarmen.

I think lisa lisa kept the stone as a bargaining chip for the pillar men. She could use it to lure them back in so they could fight jojo and hopefully remove the poison rings.

I really liked Part 1 and yeah Dio stole the show for me, i still liked Jonathan.
Part 2 however... I LOVVVVVED IT. Joseph is still my favorite Jojo to this day. I also love Cesar and the antagonist.
Strait, ac/dc, santana, wham and kars amazed me. I think they look so cool despite all the weirdness.

I really love the 2 or so last minutes of the fight against Kars. The unexpected events, bullshit levels, and absolutely perfect music had me rockin on my chair the first time I saw this

Technically, the Stone of Aja did beat all of the Pillar Men. Without the stone, ACDC wouldn't have came to fight JoJo. Without the stone, Joseph and Lisa Lisa would have died in the Pillar Men's mansion to the zombies/vampires. Yes, Kars wouldn't have became the Ultimate Form, but Joseph used the Stone of Aja to launch Kars into space and defeat them. So they did need them Stone of Aja

I feel like I never had a "favorite Joestar". I feel like I always like the one the most that I am watching right now.

It's totally fine to compare the different Parts and Jojo's, but I like to say: I LIKE how different the parts are and feel.

Part 2 is my second favorite so far. And might as a whole honestly be better than my current fave, Part 4, but Part 4 has higher highs that I enjoy more.

The volcano erupted because of the power of perfect kars hitting the stone of aja that’s how it had enough strength to erupt rocks into space. Mark, you know volcanoes don’t reach space, right?

One thing I noticed between Jonathan and Joseph in difference, that I am sure EVERYONE has noticed, is that Jonathan is always a "I have a plan: Attack." Kind of guy. Even if outmatched he will stand and fight and power through it.
Joseph, on the other hand, is not afraid to CUT AND RUN if the situation is beyond his capabilities.
