I have recently gotten a chemical burn which has caused my skin to burn, however it is just inflamed. I've been to a dermatologist, and he's prescribed me a protopic ointment, and a cortisone cream to use for a month, together with a Vichy spf50 sunscreen. I was wondering if I good use a hyaluronic acid serum with this regime. As now that the inflammation is reducing and redness "carpet burn" look is reducing, I'm noticing a darker tone to my skin.
I just wanted to know if this would be okay and safe for my skin.

Hi dr lim , once you use hydroquinone and you achieve results in 3-4 months and when you are on rest break from hydroquinone then can you just use another tyrosinase Inhibitor like arbutin or liquorice root extracts and stick with that instead of going back to hydroquinone again ? Also do you need rest breaks with arbutin as it’s a derivative of hydroquinone is it safe to use twice a day indefinitely eveyday to maintain hyperpigmentation or prevent hyperpigmentation?

What would you recommend to treat pityriasis lichenoides chronica? I've been diagnosed with this skin disorder from last year when i visited the dermatologist. My skin look like a leopards.
