why do I have to put it in 2x so it sounds normal

when I typed g++ --version it works, but after trying to compile the cpp file, it says
g++.exe: error: 1.cpp: No such file or directory
g++.exe: fatal error: no input files
compilation terminated.
and i noticed that my terminal directory is not pointing to my file's folder, how to set the terminal path?

when I typed g++ --version it showed "The term 'g++' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program." there's error also in command panel as "'gcc' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." could you please tell me how to solve this problem?
