Anybody having issues with JDKs and SDKs for getting Hot Reload to work? My environment variables seem to be in order but I keep getting "There were deployment errors."

Your video has been incredibly helpful in giving me an idea of how to get started with Xamarin.Forms development. I already know Xamarin will be deprecated very soon. I am required to use it for my mobile app development course - my request to use MAUI got a big "No" lol.

emulator is soooooo slow

Hi James, i have working exp on xamarin.form about 3 years, but for the last couple of years i had to work with powershell scripting. Now i want to come back to mobile application development, i am confused where to get start, is it a good idea to go through your xamarin.forms series ? Is there future for this ? Any suggestion from you :)

TOO MUCH TALK

Hi everybody, I wanted to develop a work order app for personal use, 😂 AI told me xamarin was a good way to start.
I was wondering if it truly is, all I want to be able to do is, log work orders so that I can conveniently track, but I want to be able to have one click links to call or pull up navigation easily. Is Xamarin forms good for this?

When I start the emulator i just get a black phone. The start button doesnt do anything...

I tried each step and successfully build my first iOS app! Got stuck on Hot Restart because I haven't updated to new version of VS. Overall this video is well detailed and easy to learn. Thank you so much James!

When i start the project for the first time the emulator functions perfectly but when i close the emulator and start it again the app does not open. So the emulator starts but when i try to open the app it closes again while loading. There is also a alert that Xaml Hot Reload stopped and that the project is stopped. I can press continue but then the same thing happens again, it closes the app while starting. I changed nothing to the project.

can anyone help me how to remove trailing zero after decimal in xamarin forms. e.g: if I've the value 124.50 or 239.00 i should get the result 124.5 and 239 respectively?

I was intimidated by all the moving parts at first but you explained everything very well and in a language, I could understand (not too technical). Hi JM, I am new here and currently having this error message when ran the MyCoffeeApp for the first time. The type or namespace name 'Models' does not exist in the namespace 'MyCoffeeApp' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
How can I fix this problem. Thanks in advance
