whys my rtx 3080 TI always have 75 /85 temp !! ??? in 4k ultra

Anyone know what software is being utilized during the gameplay to display benchmarks?

is the rtx 3080 ti with the i9 12900k a good combination??

I have aFTW3 variant of the card and my temps often go to 75c..... it does have a minor OC (+100 core, +700mhz mem, and 112% power limit)
Is this acceptable? I feel like even when not overclocked my temps were higher than yours?

How are you keeping your GPU temps so low? What case was this build using? How many fans?

How much wats for the power supply do u have? There is a offer on Newegg to buy a 3080ti for half the price so they would suggest 750w which I already have but I still wanna know is it enough for playing 4k? (Btw I have a 3060ti but I can’t just miss a half price 3080ti)

Pretty soon the low end cards will be doing 4k like nothing and the Nvidia xx80-90 series will be doing 8k.

yeah.... if most games are not even gonna reach 100 fps in ultra 4k i might as well buy a 75 hz 4k monitor

I'm going to get my 3080ti with i9 12900kf. From what I see the Performance is good with an i7, so I'm really looking forward to gaming in 4K resolution with ray tracing for the first time.

I wanna see all the same games redone but with AA turned off.

Butt cheeks hella tight watching the GPU almost kill itself. I’ll happily settle for 2k visuals for even better performance. Also, if I’m not speaking about this correctly, it’s because I’m a console player looking to build my own PC was I can grab this GPU for retail on a restock

wich RTX3080 Ti you have ?

Just got mine yesterday, previous card was 2080 Ti. The 4K performance jump between those two cards is actually less than I thought it would be. What is more impactful to me is the Gsync, and being able to have Vsync turned off. It's the first time I've EVER been able to play a game with Vsync off. I've always used a TV with PC, TVs almost never have Displayport. On the HDMI side 2.1 is the first version that can do it. Hence why I couldn't experience Gsync until I had a 30 series card. People with monitors have have been able to enjoy Gsync for a while now because of Displayport but for me this is the first time I've been able to. It seems to be the biggest difference I'm seeing.

Not enough effort is being made with games right now to Revolutionize graphics like shading and textures, it's easier for developers to just chase higher resolution instead.

got the same base as you, 10700k 3080ti fe, but damn my temps are not good, 60-70 for the GPU is okay but my 10700k goes to 70.
20 degres more as yours, i have a H100i good thermal paste good airflow

Real world FPS would be even better because at 4K you especially don't need to run "Ultra Graphics" on every game. You can turn down a few settings for better optimization without sacrificing any visual quality, and you'll probably get ~20+ fps improvements.

To be honest cyberpunk is a terrible coded and optimised game , lazy development programming. It couldn’t hit 60 FPS all maxed out. I am a bit surprised flight sim couldn’t hit 60. It was developed for pc, but with some overclocking it should manage it.

I feel like i'm losing quite a lot of performance with a 3080 atm, 10-15% more performance is quite a big deal in 1440p but at the same time even if i want to switch for the ti counterpart i would struggle to find one available, feels like i'm trapped 😒

The best graphic card for minecraft

just got 3080ti tuf, and cyberpunk 2077 still runs between 40-50 fps with customized settings followed by the DF, same happened to me with TUF 3080, so weird man!
