Bootstrap 4 Grids in Figma - creating responsive grids for Web Design

But there was no any 6 column and 2 coulmn class in Real bootstrap ..Why you use 6 column and 2 column ?

how you decide width to be 60px? for 1400px container size is 1320px for bootstrap. for me gutter-size is 15px and width is 96px for screen resolution more than 1400px but still it's not responsive grid

Do you have a video or can you point me towards something that would answer WHY you made these choices? Like if I only had the bootstrap documentation how would I then start making grids in figma... This video is helpful, but if I am defining a grid system I will need to answer why and how I made the choices I did. Thank you.

I miss the WHY! Why these numbers? How did you get the 65 width for a column? And the gutter size? How did you accumulate these? Why not 59 for example?

Hi. Some videos about responsive layout in Figma make the columns stretch rather than center. Is possible to make a boostrap grid with stretch or need to be fixed size?

Awesome video. I have 2 questions:
1. Since the values in Bootstrap grids are all multiples of 5, does that mean we have to ensure our spacing follows 5px spacing (as opposed to lots of other places that recommend 4px spacing)?
2. Since the horizontal gutter gutter is 30px, does this mean we can't space elements with a smaller gap? For example, if on an ecommerce site I want to show 4 products horizontally that are spaced 8px apart, does this go against the grid system "rules"?

I am still unclear how/when to define coloum widths in bootstrap?? Also should we always position the columns from center of the artboard??

And when we implement this 12 coloum grid on the specific screen size, The portion of screen covered by coloum- Do we call them a container?

I don’t understand why there is no option to indicate in Figma container width. It could be so easier to set up grid. We wouldn’t need to calculate the columns width every time.
