Decided to go into running again
Started last week
I’m on my week two day 2 running
Walking at 3.5 and running at 6.0 to 6.5 during this workout
I wanted to say thank you for making these videos and motivating me and a lot of other people

Just done my first one on week one , looking forward to doing it again already .
Got to go steady as used to run but have now got a icd pacemaker so nice and steady to start .
Lower calf and shins start paining while running. Any suggestions how to make it better

ОтветитьI just started this series a week ago. Week 1 was fairly easy on me, and this was my first week 2 day....my legs are killing me lol I couldn't do 1.5 minutes every single time. Only the first 2 and then the last. So this will be an interesting progress journey for me. We'll see if I need to repeat this week.

ОтветитьFinish my first workout for this week! Feels great. I was running at 5.5-5.6 mph for the majority of the workout but at the last interval, I pushed through it at a speed of 6 mph 😁
Update: Finished week 2 strong 💪 final work out walk pace of 3.3-3.5 and run at 5.8-6 mph
Have just finished my sec wk session today, ure really a good coach been running from 3:6 to 6:5 the all session 😊😊😊💪💪

ОтветитьI have a question...should I run every day or can I run every other day? I am a beginner runner trying to lose some weight and I am trying to figure out the most effective method to shred the weight. I keep reading everywhere that working out/running everyday doesn't work too well because the body needs RECOVERY time to show results, so every other day is best. is it true? I also intend to run half a marathon one day (my bucket list). Thanks!

ОтветитьWeek 1 & Week 2 done now in Week 3, just finished a bit harder today being honest think i pushed a bit much yesterday. Really enjoying it, eating much better food and limiting drinks just on a Friday. In doing so I've been rewarded losing 9lb. Thank you Ibx team

ОтветитьI’ve pre-ordered a treadmill as for me it’ll be easier and safer.
I have stargardts (losing centre vision both eyes - so even when walking I can’t always see oncoming people, potholes and cars etc]
By the time I’d walk to a local gym I’m worn out especially if I can’t get a taxi so at home I go to my garage when I want, no matter the weather, get on machine/weights when I want and play the music I want 🙂
I want to lose weight/get fit and run a marathon for sight loss charities.
Good motivation!
