I sometimes wonder when Virtual Reality becomes a real thing, like how they show in Sci-fi movies, would street racing decrease or increase? Anyone, with reasonable intelligence, can do car stunts in a digital game and not hurt anyone.

People better chill out! Some states are passing very draconian laws. In TX for example not only will they impound your car, they’ll suspend your license, if you have a passenger they will also suspend their license. On top of that, anyone gathered as part of the crowd are subject to fines, especially if they are taking video

The videos they keep showing in these so-called street racing crashes, aren’t street racing. last time I checked doing donuts in the nearest section isn’t street racing.
This is false reporting, but I won hundred percent agree that the videos they show are showing are idiots reckless driving, I know street racing is illegal but all these idiots they show are idiots doing donuts are street takeovers. I say this all those street racing is illegal, it actually takes skill not like these idiots doing donuts in their G35s in the middle of an intersection.

Street Takeovers are people who to do stupid stunts, burnouts and donuts on the road. Street Racing is about racing your cars in a straight line. News reporters all over the country need a history lesson and to know that there is a HUGE difference between Street Racing and Street Takeovers. Let's focus on a new goal, trying to legalize Street Racing in a saver way. Build some new roads and freeways, close them off to the public and let the speed demons race their Tuner cars in peace, without the police giving them any trouble. People need to stop being afraid and learn to accept the car culture. There will always be a new generation of Street Racers every year and the community will continue to grow. Those guys and girls aren't doing anything wrong, they are just trying have a good time and enjoy themselves. Street Racing is the future and it should get legalized sometime during the next 8 years.

Yep sad for sure. I'm for racing but do it legally. People that are doing this are reckless and stupid and are endangering others as well. Street racing should be done legally on tracks with rules and regulations. I have racing games that are still fun to play.
