Hi Jen, I thought it was in this video, but maybe I missed it. Which poetry book has the verses you can cut out and place in a hat? Thank you very much in advance!!! 💜
ОтветитьOh my god. I don't know of the last channel that had a POETRY BOOKSHELF. Subscribed. Liked. Commenting. This is beyond inspiring for me, like you have no idea 🥺🤗

Ответитьthat "peasant" dress is so pretty!! don't think i've ever seen a colour quite like it 🧿👄🧿
ОтветитьGood job.
ОтветитьHi, Jen - I’m really enjoying trawling through you channel. It’s taken me a while to find a reviewer who isn’t reviewing YA almost exclusively or stuff I will never read. Good work.
ОтветитьThat was really lovely.
Thanks for your time and effort ❤️
Such a lovely video, sitting with a coffee on a Sunday and adding books to my to read list.
ОтветитьThe Octopus Museum is so good. And the cover is gorgeous.
ОтветитьAhhhh I love this video. I am bookmarking it because I need to add so many of these to my wish list! Thanks for sharing your massive poetry collection with us.
ОтветитьJen, your hair looks very nice. That bob is adorable on you! I can’t believe you cut it yourself.
ОтветитьLol I’ve also had Rebecca Solnit explained to me by a man on a train.
ОтветитьI saw the title and thumbnail and I was like IM IN
ОтветитьThis was amazing. I added so many to my TBR. I’m very interested in the pamphlets and will be researching those.
ОтветитьLove the green blouse 🥰
Ответитьdid you get a haircut? Your hair looks amaze balls
ОтветитьWe used to call the paper things fortune tellers?
ОтветитьOnly just started the video and already two books added two my basket! One for my best friend. Who is training to be a linguist so I know will love “Poems from the edge of extinction” and “Beauty is a verb” and “stairs and whispers” for me :) thanks you I’m sure more will be added as I continue to watch.
ОтветитьThis gives me nostalgia for reorganising shelves as a bookseller. :) Always so satisfying in the end.
ОтветитьAudio book co I belong to never has the books you mention...well Nicki french. Love to listen o you write things down and I do try the book club j u s t. Incase♥️🐾🏴
ОтветитьOMG when you addressed me directly my face lit up! 😲🥰 I was like "How does she know I'm watching?!" and then I remembered that I always watch your videos, and of course this one particularly, because poetry ❤️
You are a blessing!
This is probably my favourite declutter so far !! I love poetry collections and you always have so many gems .I was pausing taking notes all through watching it, just so so good ❤️Fave recent read is Postcolonial Banter by Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan .
ОтветитьI ordered Poems on the Edge of Extinction when you got to it in the video. I’ve been meaning to order it for a long time. It’s such a beautiful/sad idea. I can’t wait to get it.
ОтветитьHave you read any Franny Choi? I recently read Death by Sex Machine and really enjoyed it, and thought it sounded like something you would like in terms of style and subject
ОтветитьI kept searching for all of these in my library's catalogue in a different tab and I'm quite surprised by how many of these my library holds. I reckon Edinburgh libraries are doing quite well stock-wise
ОтветитьYour train story 😄
ОтветитьPoetry! I'm glad all of the ones you read were good or much better. Especially Octopus Museum, I've been eager to read that one for a while. The man you describe in your incident sounds so obnoxious, though hilariously ironic. I feel like as soon as he started arguing about the author I would've just flipped to the title page in the book and turned it to face him and said nothing more. Though something tells me people like that would still somehow find a way to argue around something as definitive as that...
ОтветитьI loved this video! I read Earthlings by Sayaka Murata in one sitting today, and the ending was so disturbing, it really put me off haha. I've also recently read Revenge by Yoko Ogawa, and it really made me think of you and your work! I looked up your review and saw that you liked it too :)
Ответитьgrabbing a cup of coffee to sit with you and think about books. your videos are just the best, thank you for them <3
ОтветитьLove this video!!!! Highly recommend Natalie Diaz!! I loved Postcolonial love poems a lot!!! Also you should 100% check out Billy-Ray Belcourt’s poetry if you haven’t already, he’s become one of my favorite poets!!
Ответитьso strange to see you in a sweater :) i'm in california and it's 34 C outside :)
ОтветитьOn books that seem to multiply when not on shelves: It's almost as if we've discovered through out the ages that bookshelves are the most efficient way to store books. Who would have thunk? :)
ОтветитьFor me, I only keep a collection if there is at least one poem in it I love but to be fair I don't have a massive collection (yet) 😊
ОтветитьYessss!! Another one! I love these videos as well as your reading vlogs <3
ОтветитьSo excited for this!!
