That is way too much tent. That is more than what I’d use for car camping. I say that Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL3 Bikepack or maybe the Wyoming Trail 2 for motorcycle camping. I personally use my litefighter 1 but I can see someone wanting more room.

Love the tent! So spacious and it appears very livable. Like the colors, also. Admire you for cleaning up the area of trash. I had to shake my head. Will never understand how people can leave their trash behind. That’s something I would never do. Take care.

We used to camp a lot, and lots of it on the rain as BC is primarily a rainforest. My ex husband would dig a trench (the kids called it a moat, to prevent the water from pooling and backing into our tent.

I have an original “Redverz Atacama Expedition” motorcycle tent and love it. Yes it’s a bit heavy and bulky so big bike friendly not a 250. It’s well worth it when set up, and set up is simple and quick.

As you were describing the Land Cruiser you mentioned that it had an inline V6 engine. How can the pistons be inline in a V configuration? Is it a diesel?

Always enjoy your videos Luke! Just to let you know, an inline 6 cylinder ( I-6) is different than a V-6. It's the configuration of the cylinders -NOT an inline V-6 (probably just misspoke). Yours is I-6 inline which gives you more torque than a V-6. Also most I-6's are super reliable!

I appreciate what you do when you leave the campsite. I feel the same way in leaving the area in a better shape then when I arrived. Nature is beautiful that is unmarried by men’s pollution. Your view on the challenges, unforeseen or unanticipation of camping in the wilderness with abrupt weather changes illustrates the creativeness of the human mind to cope. This is the reason why USA is advance in the microchip industry because of this creativeness to not be locked in, but to expand one’s horizons.

There is something so completely satisfying about being in the rain and able to stay dry. I love the sound of thunder and watching lightening. Looking forward to the storms we are supposed to get tonight. I guarantee I'll be sitting under my covered porch taking it all in...

My only argument against your "never 'pawning' anything on your channel" is this: You are a guy who has a lot of knowledge and experience with camping and I, for one, would not at all mind if you promoted something you really like or can't along without when on your adventures. I actually like it when people with experience with something interject an ad, which they clearly say they are doing, to show how they use the whatever-it-is. This is not a bad thing, it's actually useful. Just sayin'
