How to play DOTA 2 As a League Of Legends player! MAP MECHANICS SETTINGS (Read Description)

Now when LoL is going to start using Vanguard (Riots anti-cheat software), I'm going to give DOTA 2 a fair try! I've always heard things like "DOTA 2's learning curve is really really steep, don't even bother if you're not committed" and "DOTA 2 is very hard to get into". Stetments like these have scared me off (as well as no friend of mine playing DOTA 2). But with Vanguard now soon to be in LoL, I'm willing to give DOTA 2 a try despite of all the things I've heard... DOTA 2 has now been installed on my PC and I'm about to launch the game for the first time!

Side note: Seeing heroes level above 18, leveling up your passive(?) and hitting YOUR OWN minions are some of the most cursed things I have EVER seen comming from LoL btw! Can't wait to try DOTA 2 out! Fantastic video!

holy crap i played regular AP and match took 62 minutes.. cheesus jeebus that's hardcore :D but i kinda enjoy the game , so far 2 shops with all those items are kinda clunky for me so buying and not dying is biggest problem :D

You can reset creep aggro and tower aggro in dota by forcing attack on your own allies

Dam I had no idea I could reset dota controls to league ones, that'll make giving it a second try so much easier.

Courier and secret shop were worth mentioning. I can imagine frustrated league player standing in base for 3 minutes trying to buy point booster for their aghanim's and ragequiting after failure to read simplest hint on the screen that you can buy this item in secret shop as well as a helpful pings on the map showing the locations of it.

I quit League two days ago. I'm going full into Dota 2 and this game confuses the Hell out of me. Had to quit League because catch-up mechanics for jungling are too much to deal with and hard carrying has become nearly impossible now in Diamond elo. I don't wanna go back to playing it but I'm having a difficult time understanding what is going on in Dota right now. This guuide really helped a lot and I'm going to watch more of your videos for League players. Thank you.

i was always discouraged even trying it even after completing the in-game tutorial and researching some UI settings from reddit. I think you really need a PHD to play this. League is trash compared to dota2 , and i was Diamond 1 in lol back in season 3.. when the game was decent.. now it's a balance disaster. Heard dota2 is more balanced but.... yea. good luck gettin into it

Although I've technically been playing Dota 2 longer than League (First Dota match was in 2015 and first League match was in 2017), I'm still absolutely clueless on how a lot of stuff in the game works. Thanks for this video, it helps a lot.
