You have class and style Seth, kudos.
ОтветитьMy first modern road bike was a Diamond Back. If was a nicely equipped 3x8 Shimano Sora. The frame might have been made by Giant but paint and graphics were Diamondback. If was aluminum with beautiful T.I.G. welds on the frame.
Ответитьgreat exercise and great for pulling kids in a trailer
ОтветитьAre replacement parts available for Diamondback bikes?
Ответить@SethsBikeHacks >>> 👍👍
ОтветитьThe only reason I got a diamondback is because of this channel.
ОтветитьDiamondbacks lost for sure I bought a diamondback because of the quality of your videos.
Ответить.
ОтветитьI still love diamondback
ОтветитьI'm sure that what Seth said is true, and Diamondback had to stop sponsoring him for reasons beyond their control, but I just wanted to say that I bought two Atroz 2s and a Hook 24 because of the exposure that Seth gave them through this channel. I think they'll probably miss out on a quite a few sales in the future, and this is a bigger loss for DB than for Seth.
ОтветитьI think it will be okay. I said when this video came out. Now in the future. I think it worked out for the best because now Seth has the Hardtail of his dreams and he has a super nice Revell rail bike.
ОтветитьBecause of this channel, I ended up buying a DB Line for the boy and to this day he still rides it. Thanks for the great content, merch, and times over the past several years. Keep up the good work 👍
Ответить“It’s not you, it’s me.” She said.
“But we can still be friends..?” He replied, hopefully.❤
But, seriously..., that was nicely done.
My dad was a '60s guy who regarded chromoly as a godsend and thought clutchless, caged derailers we're top tech.
My first 'mountain bike' was a Diamondback Traverse. I rode that my fucker like it owed me money. I rented a full suspension diamondback in the Nantalah mountains once, at about 11 years old. One of, if not not the best days of my entire life. As a Florida boy, who thinks XC is still pretty fun. You're my favorite channel since Driver61.
Would you use a metric as a gravel bike. It doesn’t seem like there is too much difference between the metric and the haanjo
Ответитьdoes this mean no more colabs with eric porter
ОтветитьSeth should try bamboo bikes thou
ОтветитьI can’t help but feel this is a bigger loss for DiamondBack.
Ответитьfor what do you need a bike? you dont ride bikes anymore, like in the old days.
ОтветитьI’m new to the mountain biking scene and I’ve found your channel to be a tremendous help! Sorry to hear about Diamondback, however I’m still subscribed and look forward to more great content. Thanks for all you do.
ОтветитьSorry to hear this...it was so refreshing to see DB get back into the game of serious biking and bike making after decades of disappointing us.
ОтветитьClass
ОтветитьScrew Diamondback anyway.
Ironhorse and Jamis thanks.
This is how one behaves with class.
ОтветитьHonestly with most of the major mountain bike companies products being made in China this was probably the best thing. Would love to see a sponsorship from a fledgling American company with a good machine shop doing the work in house to take over and grow with you.
ОтветитьPure class
ОтветитьDiamond back used to be a decent bike back on late 80's early 90" s when I did bmx..
ОтветитьToday we did something different, but it was not the same.
ОтветитьThis video was not needed and you sound desperate
ОтветитьIf you were about respecting their privacy, you wouldn't take it upon yourself to speak for them and say they want to work with you but aren't allowed for some mysterious reason. You simply wouldn't comment how they feel one way or the other at all. That's what you would have done if you respected their privacy. Phony
ОтветитьHad no idea Diamondback was still in business, prolly not the same company as when I was a kid. But when I was a kid - you had a Diamondback, Hutch, Haro, GT, Redline, Kuwahara BMX…
ОтветитьDiamondback Bicycle was my first mountain bike. I used it to get back and forth to work.
ОтветитьWe can only speculate, but it's probably simple finances. The partnership worked, but diamondback can't justify the expense anymore.
Ответить- Specialized joins the party.
ОтветитьMy first bike was a diamondback my dad got it for me
ОтветитьThis is so sad :( I just bought a red Diamondback Hook because of the video that he posted about them years back.
ОтветитьSorry to hear about this. Frankly, it was though your channel I discovered that Diamondback still existed. I'm just starting to get back into riding and I really thought they went belly up years ago.
ОтветитьDude they messed up. It's because of you and your videos that me, a beginner that knows nothing about mtb stuff watched you and the DB bikes you rode that I decided to get my 2019 release 4c. And I love it! I got more for my money. But if you would have had a giant, trek, etc. I would have chosen that. So it was money well spent on their part. Good luck to you bro and thanks for the knowledge.
ОтветитьDiamondback is owned by private equity firm Regent. That’s what happens with PE.
ОтветитьNot sure if a smart move for DiamondBack.
Biggest channel for mountain biking . 🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️
my son has a Diamond Back because Seth rode a DB. Cant help but think DB is walking away from a lot of business. Seth handled this in his always.....professional way!! Well done Seth.
ОтветитьMy first mountain bike was a diamond back topanga. Nice chrome moly fully rigid.
ОтветитьI have a 1990 Diamondback road bike that I love, put a lot of miles on it. It needed a few mods, but really good build quality and lightweight construction. I'll keep it forever?
ОтветитьYou're a class act Seth fr. Wishing you nothing but more success in the future. Keep doing you!
Ответитьseeeing as i had no idea you were sponsored by diamondback , i get it.
ОтветитьGood video. Very Tastefully done. marking a neutral ending. Leaving the Door open for the future IF it is to be... Thank you for sharing and putting it out there
ОтветитьMy son won his first state BMX racing title on a used Diamondback he bought for $75 with his own money when he was ten and had outgrown his Redline mini.
He raced it for two years and then moved on to a Standard 100R but we kept the old Diamondback frame which is hanging up in the garage with my daughter's first frame with was an SE Ripper, Jr.
Edit:. My daughter also moved on to a Standard 100R
Oh thank God, I thought he was about to say Diamondbacks would stop producing bikes.
