Great confirmation, I have been doing exactly like this. But the site users keep constantly asking to limit access folder-by-folder. I tell them to sod off - all users on a site have the same permissions and there will be no inheritance breaking on the folder level. If you need to limit access for some reason, we create another site with the described permissions. There will be no folder-based permissions as long as I am alive.

Greg I can imagine a better use of a secure client portal. I own an insurance agency. I could share docs with your each folder could by a policy. Couldn’t the user manage the folder in the own OneDrive app? Or would this have to be limited to work/school users?
