ahh oh my gosh i'm so happy i found this channel!! i'm starting community college in a few weeks and i'll be studying childhood education. from there i plan to transfer to a university and hopefully become a kinder teacher like you! i'm so excited but also soso nervous. best wishes though from cali!!

I have a classroom of 14 kindergarteners and there are like 5 girls that are always being defiant. I used these tips and it definitely works. Also works with meltdowns.

I wish these strategies worked. Nothing has worked for some of these kids in my school, and at this point, everyone including myself is so frustrated that sometimes it feels impossible to remain calm and "gentle". These kids are out of control and parents refuse to be held accountable. It wasn't like this 5-10 years ago.
