Have you got a Surface Pro or plan to get one? If yes which one? 👇
Ответитьbut surface pro x comes with LTE compatibility? or no
ОтветитьThis really shouldn’t be the comparison. I just got a Surface X and it’s really for having a super light device for business travel so I can do work like I can’t on my iPad Pro. X or 8 are it’s own. X if you want mobile data. And bought it on super discount so no premium! Of course, Microsoft has ended the X.
Ответитьbeautiful man very helpful
Ответитьexcuse me what is breiter?
ОтветитьVery nicely done review sir. I like both devices for different needs. I still use the SP3, so I'm looking to upgrade. SP8 seems the premium device with the premium price (would rather that one than the current one that just came out), but (correct me if I'm wrong) the SPX does have some very very good battery life right? If so, I would probably get that one because I mainly use my Surface Tabs when I travel for business (i.e. email, documents, Office 365 programs, MS Teams, SharePoint, Bookings, not games/movies really). Again...nicely done.
ОтветитьOk but here me out. The pro x is cheaper for a reason.
ОтветитьI have a base model Pro 6, and if I'm going to be honest I'm a but underwhelmed by the whole gimmick. Saw it for sale locally through marketplace, thought it would be an upgrade for me to do schoolwork on, make note-taking easier, maybe light emulation. But GOOD GOD I wish I had known how awful this keyboard was to type on for extended periods of time!! Every 3 sentences I'm having to hunt down my cursor and fix a word I just impregnated, battery life is complete garbage even on the type-cover, and no type-c is the hardest to deal with. Call me crazy, but my experience on a higher-end x360 chromebook was sooooooo much smoother and more modern feeling! Maybe I just haven't felt out the machine and it's capabilities. Hope it gets better. Anyway, great video keep up the good work!
ОтветитьRemember buying the X originally with the “SQ1” snapdragon processor, and aaaall the things they’re gonna add. A year later. Nothing. If they could come with a X that has an Intel processor I’d be set.
ОтветитьWhat song is that?
ОтветитьThe mics on the X are better than the 8
ОтветитьI disagree I feel like the microphone and camera looked and sounded better on the X surprisingly. The 8 colors were warmer but I preferred the cooler colors on the X camera
ОтветитьI like the x better
ОтветитьUgghh...can't believe we're talking about 8GB RAM in the 2020s....Feels so 2005.
ОтветитьMany years ago I future-proofed my purchase of a Surface Pro 3 with an i7. So much so it's fine for me today. But I'm thinking I should sell it off and upgrade while it is still in excellent condition and the battery is good. Gotta decide on a 6, 7, 8, or X.
ОтветитьDid anyone go with platinum?
ОтветитьI heard the keyboards are interchangeable is one better than another ?
ОтветитьLink to that song used for the audio test?
ОтветитьFor me Surface pro 3 screen is gorgeous than surface pro 8. And battery life is better with pro3 than pro8. I recently upgraded from pro3 to pro8. But it seems like a downgrade.
ОтветитьNice review, after watching this video, would be interesting a comparison between the Surface 7 i3/i5/i7 and the Surface Pro X. The surface Pro 7 i3 comes at a very good price, just thinking i3 might not be enough anymore for daily "normal" usage. Any has one? Thanks.
ОтветитьYou didn't comoare the battery life, why?
ОтветитьI went with x because of the LTE
ОтветитьHow does he battery life compare on the 8 vs the x?
ОтветитьI love my Surface Pro X (SQ 1 8gig) and it upgrades to Windows 11 no problem. It runs great and has fewer issues than Windows 10, including running x64 applications. As far as I am aware, only the Surface Pro X has built in GPS which is handy for a road warrior.
The one thing missing is the ability to run an x64 Linux virtual machine, which I can't really do on the ARM processor. Aside from that, the Surface Pro X is my go-to laptop when travelling.
the X seemed better in speakers, sound, video, and screen resolution to me.
ОтветитьWindows 11 en ARM admite aplicaciones de 64 bits??
ОтветитьHow are you guys doing with battery life? My SP8's battery is dying much faster than my SPX did, but on Reddit they say it should be about the same?
ОтветитьWindows 11 on surface pro x is awesome. I bought the pro x and it came with windows 10 which was truly annoying as many programs didn't work. With windows 11, it's an entirely different experience! I love it!
ОтветитьYou didn't compare battery life 😢
ОтветитьLove my Surface Pro X. Slimmer, lighter, no fans and better battery. No software compatibility issues on Windows 11 too. Just don't trust Intel or AMD for consistently good battery. No way the Pro 8 beats Pro X with its ARM SOC for battery.
ОтветитьWindows 11 is available for the Surface Pro X. It's essential too. Windows 10 on ARM doesn't support 64-bit apps.
ОтветитьI will buy one, hopefully one second hand with broken glas. I only need it to test porting software to WIndows ARM and i only need to port software to ARM to get another checkpoint from the marketing department (no significant marketing at all for this crap). But if you have a long term software plan, you better check for portability problems as soon as possible.
Hope one day Microsoft makes a good, affordable, repariable/upgradeable fast ARM device.
Really starting to love yourt channel after recently finding it - I love your practical take on the features of these devices, not focussing on "more powwaahhh" like other reviewers.
ОтветитьI have to see your lip every time when you mentioned Pro X and Pro 8 because they sounds nearly the same. 😂
ОтветитьHi. Does anyone knows if the 2 USB C ports gap distance are the same for both SPX and SP8? Im not sure if the SPX type C adapter (plug in both side usb C) will works with SP8.
Thanks!!
I love my SP8 i5/16/256 except one thing: battery life
Ответитьhowdy, randomly surfing around surface videos to make a choice, and u got a too god voice and eng language mixed with Deutsch accent :) too nice to hearing.
ОтветитьIf Microsoft give camera advance technology ms tablet can defeat other companies
ОтветитьCamera compare why not record
Ответитьwindows 11 sux, a lot of bugs!
ОтветитьWeird. To me the camera and microphone seemed better on the X than the 8 to my eyes an ears. And the speakers sounded better too so it was surprising to watch this and each point hear you say it was better on the 8. Guess people have different perceptions but maybe its because you have them in person and can sense a difference that isnt picked up through the video so well.
ОтветитьI'm still banking on Arm to eventually surpass Intel for Surface/Windows 11 tablets mid-late next year.
SQ2 chips I believe hasn't been updated for the Surface Pro X and is still just SQ1 essentially, as Qualcomm's 8 Gen 1 chips were not ready.
There are few things I am still waiting on the Surface before I throw away my iPad Pro.
- Next gen 4nm ARM processors - Qualcomm's 8 Gen 1 Chips and Mediatek Dimensity 9000 are going to be on many major Smart phones and Galaxy tablets.
- LTE variants, not just for Enterprise
- Windows 11 touch tablet gesture improvements and mobile app support as they are still better naturally better designed for touch for the time being.
To engineers: do not upgrade your windows 10!
ОтветитьDer Preisaufschlag für die i7 Version lohnt sich imo überhaupt nicht. Auf reddit gibt es auch schon Kommentare das thermal throttling im i7 öfters auftreten kann..
ОтветитьGreat video. Pro 8 screen supports Dolby Vision. Could explain why it's better.
ОтветитьSurface pro x is for business not entertainment so 8 is going to be better
ОтветитьBetter panel on the S8. The X is a little snappier with Windows 11
ОтветитьThanks for this video. Answered all of my questions I asked you under the comments section in your previous video about the Surface Pro 8. 👍
After watching your video I am leaning towards the SP8, but the 16GB version is really expensive here in Germany.
I have the original Surface Pro X and have already received the windows 11 upgrade.
