once in 2020-22 era the 3060ti was used to be 25% faster than 3060 12gb but now in 2023 for most of cases, the gap reduced from 25% to just 8-10%, sometimes even less, ofc with more stutters 😑

I can´t understand how a remastered game like TLOU that runs perfectly ar 60fps in FHD in the PS4 with 1.84 TFLOPS, can't run at 60fps at same resolution in an RTX 3060 12GB with 12.74 TFLOPS, i love that game but probably i'll never replay it on PC for that reason.

your 3060 ti clock speed is too low to compare it to the high clock speed variant of the other 2 cards! My 3060 ti (non oc) clocks up to 1950 mhz out of the box!

I was wondering why your benchmarks are so weird and off, then I noticed you use 4x8gb memory. This is a problem, 2x16gb memory would give you better results at higher speeds

I see that 3060 12GB doesn´t use all Vram usage in most of games... I am not sure that this is a good deal to buy this card or the 3060 8GB.

Just picked up my first PC that has a 3070 in it with something called a Ryzen 3700 I think. Only paid 900 cad for it so took the gamble. Am I bottlenecking this PC with the CPU? Trying to understand all of the terminology and what bottlenecking means

Would a 3060ti 12gb be a good upgrade from an rx 580 8gb? I have a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16gb of ram. I just want to play at 60 fps high settings at 1080p, possibly 144hz.

Those core clocks on 3060 ti are generally lower what I have. Mine are around 2 ghz most of the time.

Seems like it is a 10 fps jump per card upgrade at 1440p. I have a 3080 and a 3090 in each of my rigs but I think I will wait another generation for the 50xx cards. I'm not too impressed with the 40xx cards this time around... 😒

Had to choose between a $340 3060 12gb vs $320 3070 8gb. Chose the latter as I will get more benefits from the 3070 now. By the time I upgrade, both cards will be obsolete.

12gb 3060 run cooler and lower watts in power. Save more on electric bill.

idk id go with the 3060ti. if you turn the graphics up to need more then 8gbs, the 3060 12gb doesn't have the power to run them at 60fps anyway

In VRAM heavy games the 3060TI is almost at the 3070 level which is crazy. Really AMD cards need better software features and to be faster in general. Nvidia cards need more VRAM. I think a used 3080 is the best until next gen GPUs come out.

So one of them has an intel core i5 12400F with 16gb DDR4 ram and the other one has 32gb DDR4 ram and has an intel core i7 6th gen. Can you please tell me which one is better?

Listen everyone, I’m still on a 4core i7 4790k with a gtx 1070, most the settings on ultra you don’t even notice the difference. Some settings bring down fps and don’t even make anything look better. I run squad, Tarkov, COD, still hanging on at 60+ frames. Don’t over think your hardware. Especially this whole new panic over bottlenecking. You don’t have to go nuts on hardware, I’m upgrading now not because I have too but because prices are so cheap. I’m going for the i512600k and a 306012gb because they are under 300 bucks at the moment. As long as you tweak your settings you should of a great looking game. Make sure your games are downloaded on your SSD, make sure you don’t have background apps running for now reason, and good air flow. If my system now runs medium settings on most these titles at 60fps, then you well be more then good 👍. So don’t stress and just play!

the rtx 3060 ti has more core cuda than the rtx 3060 12gb and the rtx 3060 ti 8gb ends up having more speed

Can't believe people are still doing tests at 1080p in 2023... that is is like doing tests in 720p in 2015. 1080p has been around for 20 years now.... it's old and outdated.
