I actually agree with the bringing back thawne plan, just not for the explanation they gave. Bringing anyone else in the fight with a powerful psychopath could risk their life but nobody really cares if thawne dies, he was dead before that anyways

This whole series has been bottom barrel tv including the first few seasons everyone claims were good. Ive watched bc in a flash fanboy but tbis show has ALWAYS been god awful

I was fucking pissed when they separated frost and Caitlin, mainly because they kind of just killed off her character and the writing behind how she is the lesser friendly version of Caitlyn kind of killed Caitlin’s character by a long ass shot, not only all of the 1-6 past writings of Caitlin and frost now means absolutely nothing but it just fucking disrespect the whole characterization of Frost by making her just as friendly as Caitlin? It’s ridiculous.

Bruh I never finished watching season 7, I was bored a'd it was bad, I can't even remember what the story was

I think the amount of characters added to team flash just felt overloaded, and most of the added don't do anything
Alegra don't have a reason to be in the team
Chester is cisco but worse
Cecile is...cecile
Iris is just there to fill one more gap
And Mark is useless
The first season had only 3 members (without counting barry)
Cisco,Caitlin, and Harry (aka Eobard) it was simple, fun, and there were fillers but they weren't boring as the fillers from the new seasons

I am just leaving this here because god Crisis felt so pointless for nearly all shows looking at it now. Like fucking we have Superman and Lois, WHICH IS A CW SHOW IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE POST CRISIS which just is head scratching. Then Black Lightning actively the episode after the crossover Crisis was like "Oh you are back in our world. There is no other heroes here" which was done because the writer was up his own ass about not wanting to have his show be connected.

in my defense for my hero , they show you every characters names every episode , or at least at the recaps. like they think people just start off at the newer seasons so they recap and drop names next to everyone.

in defense of season 7 , i plead godspeed storyline started in season 5???? but still , theres a reason why i skipped 7 and its not eva, and its not allegra , its the forces .

The worst thing about Iris's little speed force connection is that it destroys the whole point of Nash sacrifing himself to power up the speed force and just gives the pride to Iris

Honestly have never understood how anyone says this show used to be good. Inconsistent and drawn out nonsensically just to push up episode count. I swear DC fans have just been conditioned to accept being served shit dressed up as food.

Dude I didn't even watch the season but after hearing that characters like Harry and Jesse were killed off unceremoniously rlly just made me pissed off especially Harry because he was the best wells and they just killed him off and its even worse that the actor is still there just never able to reprise his role in his best role except season 1 reverse flash but that doesn't even count because the wells reverse flash just got worse and worse the more he showed up after season 1

And the worst thing was that cisco left the team on that season

Just on the thing of Barry being too powerful... yeah... he's the Flash. Dude is literally considered one of the most powerful beings in existence in the comics, hence why his main enemies are always either super smart, super fast or literal cosmic entities. This show just couldn't do what they did the comics to make things interesting despite how powerful the flash is.

The way they drag, absolutely everything back to the love affair between Barry and iris is when the show jumped the shark

As I understand, dark matter is specialised by stimuli, so Barry’s dark matter is different from regular dark matter, that dark matter was transferred to Iris, then back, however, Iris still had Unspecified dark matter that was temporarily changed by the mirror verse over time. Everyone had dark matter in their system, even Iris, but it wasn’t specialised so she had no powers. This is confusing but somehow makes sense.

Also, just like Barry let Thawne go in this one, Barry also lets him go during Crisis on Earth X, AFTER he defeated Thawne, for some reason.

The flash was good then i stopped watching it at season 6

My dude, time manipulation guy is NOT op, if he needs to snap his little fingers to activate it he is gone before he knows it. I feel like people forget how seriously over powered the flash is, because this series makes him incredibly incompetent. Every hero or villan has to do some bullshit to activate their powers, a little hand gesture or consciouss concentration etc, the flash could literally kill them in a millisecond. But whatever.

I remember starting season 7 and getting excited to see the forces introduced for them to just do absolutely nothing with those characters and for them to immediately not matter after the season was done until they needed the powers to come back.

Not only is Jay returning problematic from the point of crisis, and who was the first flash etc, but he's also the doppelganger of Barry's dad - meaning he'd replace Barry's dad in the shared universe. So in this universe did Barry's dad never really exist?

Jay Garrick is alive because Henry Allen is dead thus no doppelgänger and he is from the star girl universe which is set earth 2

He can’t catch thawn because if he does he won’t kill Barry’s mom therefore flash will never be created
