RFC 5: Nicholas Vasquez vs AJ Hawryluk

Without the point deduction Nick won for sure with the point deduction I’d say a draw definitely need to see a rematch

Seen a lot of back and forth. Here is what I’ll say. Nick threw and landed more kicks and knees. AJ landed more punches. AJ scored a knockdown in the first putting him ahead 10-8 in the first round. AJ won the first round. The next two rounds were up for grabs. However, AJ pushed the pace and was the aggressor. With or without the point deduction, AJ would have won or it would have been a draw. From Nick’s perspective, he thinks he dominated. His viewpoint is understandable but inaccurate. Nobody dominated the fight. Unfortunately there only 3 rounds, 2 minutes each. In some cases, there isn’t enough time to break the opponent down even if you are the better fighter.

Cowboy gotta win a fight before he gets another shot.. dude cheated the whole fight and still couldn’t win. Guess that’s why he’s still crying.. 😢
