Why not mke the power adapter an injector so you don't lose a port? Or sale this without the adapter. I always end up tossing the adapter and adding an injector.

Would be nice to know what gauge power wire you’re using. I’ve had no luck finding anything that will fit at utility stores around my home. 16 gauge won’t do.

Still trynna learn Ubiquiti EdgeRouter-X 😥..I keep going back and forth between TP-Link C9 router(cuz I know how to configure it probably security-wise) and Ubiquiti ER-X cuz sometimes I feel like my wireless devices are taking control over my network... so I feel safe on ethernet with ER-X, however, it's configuration is anything but user-friendly or simple. Why can't you guys create scenarios and then CLI scripts accordingly. I am pretty sure out of all consumers; 90% would want to have two networks; one for PCs and other for Wireless devices--both in isolation + a guest network. This config would sell like hot cakes! 😃

So we just lose one port? Very strange idea. Why we can’t use it as uplink? It should be PoE injectors, not PoE supply.

Would be nice that rather than the wire openings is if there was some 1/2 or 3/4 inch threaded conduit holes. I mainly use UI for IPC's in CCTV situations. The ability to manage, power cycle single ports or whole device and troubleshoot before i go on site (sometimes up to 2 hours away) is nice. But since it doesn't have the conduit ports I have never got this. Also I like to have the PoE adapter sometimes inside a building.

What stops someone from pulling it off the pole mount? Was there a tamper resistant screw installed that wasn’t shown??

It might be good to include information about switching the Power Source to "PoE Injector." Without that change to the USW-Flex in the controller settings, it won't power 4 PoE devices.
