All demonstrated in this movie was nothing except lie, the film makers of this movie just wanted to show the ancient Persian dynasty and it's people like a beast, and showing the Spartans like heroes (although everybody who defends of his home is respectful), but most part if this movie was fake, and based on imagination, not based on history and reality.

In my opinion, when directors are making history or documentary movie, they must show reality, not everything that they have in their dreams. They can never change the history and reality, even it would be opposite of their wishes.
