Hi am new to the channel. Searching for 2/3 recovery/slow pace long runs models. I have 2e wide feet and land more lateral so shoes that has a medial post of denser foam work not that great. I like a more stable foam not to soft so I go already lateral with heel landing. Drop <7 i found great. I am 85kg and have a force strike. I only found now the on monster 2 (more center bias) that has the thinks I like. But is there an other 2/3 shoes that are is this category??.
As daily trainer I have Boston 12/ Mach 6 wide and uptempo Hyperion max 1 now 2.
Shoe I found sinking lateral more with my stride. Clifton, ghost max 1, aesics nimbus (was ok but also some what soft. Arahi wide I found stiff/ hard. Option I have
Nb line - more 5 (I think more medial post), trainer v3 -860? - hoka hoka flow or x walker. Ghost max 2 (looks more firm).
Perhaps could you give me 3 option from medium soft to firmer.
So hard to find
Agree that the 1080v13 is too soft (initially), but I've worn mine a lot and here in Melbourne Australia it's winter and it is actually performing better in cold temperatures and after a lot of wear casually. Also the upper is warm.
Looking forward to the More v5 though but hasn't released here yet..
Better than the Bondi 8?
ОтветитьInteresting description, Steve. Now, I have the Brooks Ghost Max to easy/long run. Here is my Like. Have a good day.
ОтветитьI think this shoe fits really well. It is easy to let an sized shoe make you think it will fit wide, but it doesn't. Great video. It's not always easy to make honest and direct reviews on products from vendors you have relationships professionally with. Well done.
ОтветитьThese high stack shoes feel more like work safety boots.
ОтветитьHaha i just get the “moore” joke after 3 replays. I already felt overwhelmed by the softness of 1080v13, and then i saw the More.
ОтветитьBulldozer more v5!
ОтветитьI just got a pair for walking and do 4.5 miles a day and they are awesome. I had the Bondi 8 and more v5 have more cushioning and feel better on my feet.
Ответитьi'm a size 9 in the nimbus 25 how is the fit for the x more v5?
ОтветитьLove this shoe!
ОтветитьHIDEOUS...
ОтветитьBut you prob could walk on water wit those...
ОтветитьSo it's Moroe talking about the More at Moore's 🙂. I couldn't let that one go past 😎.
ОтветитьWhen will the More v5 be in stock?
ОтветитьWhat about the width and toebox volume compared to 1080v13?
ОтветитьThey added 10 mm of stack to the front and back and took away what feels like 10 mm of room inside the shoe. it fits MUCH tighter than the v4. that is to say, it doesn't fit me at all. Huge let down. I bought this as soon as it came out. stock up on the v4 while it still exists. annoying running shoes which come and go in a blink and ever new version is radically different in fit and feel. i hate that and it's such a gimmick. i wish this practice would end. Also for a $155 shoe the More V5 has a cheap upper. just like the v4 did. The upper belongs on an $80 shoe not a $155 shoe.
ОтветитьHas the reported 4mm drop been confirmed? They appear a lot steeper…. I want to get a pair, but I need a low drop.
ОтветитьThis is a great shoe. A question: I'm an overweight teacher (so I stand a lot in class and move around, not run) so I look for max cushion shoes for the softness and plushness of them. After Hoka Bondi 7 and Brooks Ghost max, the NB 1080 v13 felt insanely soft and wonderful! I am looking to add one more shoe in my collection (for rotation and keeping them in shape). So, does the More v5 offer the same softness? Again, no running, buts lots of standing on my feet. Is it a good candidate for an overweight person to add to my collection?
ОтветитьGimme MORE!🤣
Ответитьhelpful video. you're definitely my go to in reviews of running shoes because i have feet issues as well . i am a female that run in mens shoes (2E) because of my bunion issues so i was wanting to see if the X More fit narrow at the toe or not. i have a marathon in March and looking to incorporate a max cushion shoe in my runs pretty soon. my go to shoes are the new balance rebel but i would like more cushion under my feet once i ramp up my weekly mileage.
ОтветитьHi Steve, I'm hoping you might be able to advise me, getting back into running just on a year now and about 30km per week after about 6 years away. The 1260 used to be my absolute go to shoe and I went through about 8 pairs of them over a few years. Coming back I don't know what I should be looking for to replace them. I have tried a pair of 860M12s. They now have over 1000km on them and I think I wasn't as happy with them as I was with the 1260s. I run a bit on road but mostly on a trail path beside a river and I think I feel any more pointy rocks through the soles a bit much. Can you suggest what I should replace them with? I like NB but I'm not oppossed to looking at other brands.
Thanks very much.
bought these shoes, send them back right away. Heavy and unstable, the shoes give way on the side so that you feel that your foot is placed crookedly on the ground
Ответитьgo with the wider version. I got blisters from The D Medium standard width
ОтветитьHow’s compared to the old Lerato? I worn mine to the bone (and it was my first new balance shoe) and now I’m looking for an alternative. Day to day shoe, not looking to run into it.
P.s. I’ve watched your 860 v14 video, please include a comment on pronation/supination in all your shoe video (maybe also high arch/low arch feet), it’s very helpful, I’m a high arch + supinator and there’s very little guidance on shoe specs
