ОтветитьGood points mentioned, so will definitely help! I know you touched on it, but do you have any recommendations on where to go for 1st time solo travellers??
ОтветитьIs it really solo if you interacted with another human along the way? NU
ОтветитьI'm sure once I've done one solo trip abroad, there will be nothing stopping me!
ОтветитьPlanning my first solo beach holiday....very nervous but excited :)
Ответитьbeen solo travel for almost 10 years in about 16 countries . my best tips( spec if u are introverted )
1 have a general idea what sites u want to visit in what time u have. make a list ( tripadvisor are a good app for that )
2 for me its comfort so i like to live in a hotel. hotel can help alot with booking trips , booking taxi, always nice to have a ground point
3 have atleast 2-3 powerbanks with you they are life savers
4 buy water right from the airport ( spec if u arrived late) some places u cant drink from
the tap so have a day of water is nice
5 dont book sightseeing from strangers in the street can be scams use the hotel or offical tour
6 dont fall for scams if people are over friendly and wants u to come with them or offer to take u places cheap it can be a scam, another scam is people can exchange money for u so always have a travel budget ready and dont have all your money on u when u are out sightseeing
8 dont get drunk ( sure a little ) but not wasted and not far from your hotel
9 you can meet people at the hotel or sightseeing tours, but heads up if random stranger approach u at the var
10 have landmarks so u can easily navigate if u get lost
11 be nice to service personal and ask them for help in the first place
12 have medicin for foodposion if u get dirrareha
13 eat local dont eat at a random mc donalds ( unless the general area seems "dirty" a well know resturant is the safest bet
14 dont shop from beggars and dont give money to beggars ( scams and risk for u to get robbed)
15 dont be out late at night alone

This video is so helpful!
Loved your story, I myself went out alone but it’s been a long time.Thk you for sharing!😊
ОтветитьAwesome 👍🏻😃
ОтветитьEspecially if you're a guy. (It's a 1000x better than spending half your money on another person such as a girlfriend/wife.) Also, I'm confused..."Meeting, and Traveling? Sounds like you were spending those times kinda rent-free with men/women, and offered to pay for the food as a way to pay for rent...if you're a guy it isn't that easy, just save up guys, and by the end of the year, treat yourself, because this woman has it easy. We men must really earn out way towards solo traveling.)
Ответить@57 havent chased egypt!
ОтветитьCome to the Philippines
ОтветитьI'm about to take a solo trip and your video is inspiring
Ответитьmy no 1 is never let people know that you are alone. No matter how nice someone is, I always say that my friend is Corona positiv at the hotel.
ОтветитьI rarely go explore and travel places alone even within the city, always nervous about dining in and things like that. But I really want to do an international trip but non of my friends have the expenses for it. I have no idea how to navigate lol
ОтветитьYou are so beautiful
ОтветитьHow do u book a flight 😅

ОтветитьHello. I enjoyed the video.
We are planning to capture nature along the coastline of Korea. Please show a lot of interest.
Hi Haley,
Omg! I could not agree more! I’ve been solo travelling for years now and it’s definitely so freeing and energising! It’s so much fun being able to wander and explore to your hearts content, not wasting valuable time discussing, compromising, arguing etc with a travel buddy about where you’ll go and what you’ll do! I’ve been on some amazing trips and done some awesome hikes, photo tours, walking tours etc that are always super interesting and mind blowing! I’m heading to Iceland in a few weeks as the start of my next and most epic trip for almost 4 months and I’ll turn 64 while I’m away! Solo travel is not only for the young and adventurous! You would not believe how many people are amazed when I say I travel solo and do all my own planning, booking etc. I’ve been so lucky and never had any problems but I’m sensible and always very present where I am exploring! Having unlimited time to wander and wait for the perfect photo or enjoy the sunrise or sunset is mind boggling! Travel is food for the soul in my book so thank you for trying to inspire others to try it too! Cheers from Australia! Safe travels!
Hi Haley. Thanks for this inspiring video. I am planning for my first solo trip in South East Asia, can you recommend one country?

ОтветитьHi, Haley! I'm so inspired by you. Travelling solo!! I've been dreaming this. Same with you after college, don't know what I want to do but travelling is my dream ever since. Watching your videos reminds me of a saying that "if you can do this, I can do this too". Thank you so much! Take care always. Love from Philippines! ❤️
