I'm russian and recently moved to Serbia. I think you have a low bureaucracy. Also you have really low taxes for business comparing to EU and many developed countries.

As a true Serb, I can but say that all is 100% true, and 50% of it is not true.

I'm Italian and I have been to Serbia quite a few times (I think 5 or 6), what I love the most over there is the people. A friend of mine and I spent a New Years Eve in Belgrade, we had a table for 2 at a bar, in a matter of minutes we were invited by a group of locals to their table that was just bseide ours and we spent the whole night with them. Most of the times I went there I struck some friendship with someone, and I'm still in touch after years. And that summer trumpet festival in Guca is just amazing.

And...where do U come from..?
Muslims and Orthodox R brothers. It's always been like that. In all the wars, they fought against the Anglo-Saxons... It's like that everywhere in the world except Bosnia and Kosovo... so now you see what's crazy and who's crazy. Albania wants Greater Albania without ANY contact with the rest of the Muslim and Orthodox world.
This is only part of the story...and Belgium and Brussels...The Hague and the Netherlands are places where trials R held without justice and law for the rest of the world.

The rules do not apply to AmericaNS and the EU PEOPLE, but they apply harshly to the rest of the world...etc.etc.etc

As a finnish person who hasn't gone south from Helsinki, I'm so proud of being Serbian!

When I and my uncle's family came to Serbia for vacation, my experience was that "the Serbian people love to make fun of and joke about politics, their lives and stories, and other things surrounding their situation." In fact, they love to really drink beers after work, and for me, it was a fun experience in City of Novi Sad. And lastly, Jagoštica is the best mount place to have some peace and beer. With some rural people there, I like their hospitality and they give me some foods and drinks for free, even though I am an Asian foreigner.

I went to live in Serbia, but I had to leave.
I love Serbia.
I was baptised there, and I look forward to visiting my friends in Loznica, in the summer. 😀

Hahahahaha, smoking inside is banned in most Western European countries NOT in order to enhance your health, bro!! It has been banned because companies that sell fire INSURANCES asked the government to ban smoking inside. Why? Well, for the simple reason that too many businesses in Western Europe, when a business was going really going bad and they were close to bankruptcy after they had invested a lot of money to open the bar, but it turned out that people didn't like the bar or whatever and it simply wasn't a success, the owner would then become aware that he was very close to never recover anything of the money he took as loan from the bank... he would lose maybe hundreds of thousands of euros, he then himself would burn (or pay someone who would burn) the bar and the next day he would call the insurance and say "My business burnt down and it was because some stupid client left a burning CIGARET which fell on the ground and it continued burning, fire lit and in a few minutes my whole bar was gone in ashes!! I'm so devastated..." And the insurance, even though they knew the guy probably was lying, they simply had to pay because smoking was ALLOWED and it is very hard to prove if it was true a client did let a cigaret fall on the ground or not. By changing the law and prohibiting smoking inside businesses, this problem was solved!!! Since then, not one single business has ever claimed that their business burnt down because of a cigarette, and this has saved these insurance companies hundreds of millions of euros. There can still be fires sometimes, yes, but the reason would be something else, like an electrical short circuit, but this is something that can be verified very easily because a short-circuit leaves very clear marks on the spot, so it is very hard for a liar to say it was a short circuit when it was not. As you see... it has NOTHING to do with health at all, only, as usual, everything is about $$$$.

@LivingIronicallyinEurope I was expecting some caricatural explanations, but this is downright half-a...ed. "Commi blocks" in the city centre while showing an entirely different town area is misleading at best. Government-built new areas? Where? The government is literally investing in nothing relevant, even motorways are garbage (and you must pay for them!).
And don't get me wrong, I do agree with you about the general incapacity to preserve your cultural heritage and the levels of stupidity that go along with it.
