So in This strat we only hunt Craicic Chimeral right? Because the other good beast cant be found in tier 5/6 maps? Do i unterstand this right?

whoa. This video is something fishy :) I always admired Palsteron video's. I'm even using one of his expensive builds this league cause he is good at representing NOT bullshit. But this time around? When did you see P would post farming strategy when there is like 2-3 weeks left of league? Either someone of his friends were hurt by high prices of craicic chimeral, either he got paid to do this bullshit :) Look at Grimro... he is posting videos like 1-3 weeks in the start of the league and then dissapears until next league cause he tries to help noobs and etc. In this particular case this video was made to hurt an economy for someone. White maps beasting was already known at the start of the league because of Zen_M. But now? When almost no one is playing - either it's clickbait, or it's style points of ruining others just to make a point that a streamer can impact the prices. Either way it's a low blow. My praise of P went from 100 to zero in a blink of an eye.

Make sure your loot filter shows low tier maps. I ran several maps before I realized I was hiding them :(

This has been a fun strategy so thanks for that. Maybe worth mentioning that if you don't run the sextant, you can still get copies of beasts via passives even if it's only a 6% chance. It's not much but also almost free (only 3 passives). Should be pretty obvious of course but maybe some poeple just copy the atlas tree and don't think about it.

I combined this strategy with heist nodes. You get a shit ton of markers, contracts and blueprints without any sextant/map craft investment. Suits me since I'm a heist andy and I'll run them myself. Not sure how easy it's to sell lower level contracts and blueprints. I also ran 2 voidstones.

U can always put voidstone with sextant open map w8 for sextant to use and take It off . Map Will still have sextant on but u Will have No voidstone equipped. Thank me later ;p

One thing i want to point out is that because of the amount of maps ran per hour red maps are still potentially worth doing as the cost of Screaming Invitations are quite high still, while you do limit the amount of chimerals you should see it can be a net-net especially if you're also getting a decent amount of conq/elder/shaper maps on top of the invitations.

Essentially just turning the normal "boss rush" strategy into slightly more than just bosses, but if you're running the linear maps like beach, strand etc it doesn't hurt to get the extra 1.3D every 25 maps (~52d per 1k).

I don't think red maps are necessarily the "better" of the two variants as if you are doing lower tier maps (t1-t6) then you should still have significantly higher chances to get chimerals. If you're running a specialized build you can also run up to 150 maps an hour for beasts in low tier maps similar to the boss rushing strategy when min-maxed on something like mesa. These kinds of builds require very fast movment + screen clear that can still see the actual beast models... so something like shield charge ignite is great where as lightning warp TS moves too quickly to realistically see what the beasts are without intentionally slowing yourself down.

@palsteron Thanks for this guide! I’m one of those guys who sold my mageblood and tried to gamble house of mirror and failed lol. I have a headhunter again and will use this to reach my next mageblood too.

Big game is 15% for each yellow beast, so in theory (not in practice) each and every yellow beast can be replaced by a red beast.
By each I mean they roll individually. At least that is my experience.


You really! Want to delete your beasts or itemize them immediately. My bro deleted 6 froggies he just caught in the next map. It seems to be random what gets deleted.....

imo its worth mixing beasts with essence and harbinger easy to do and still sustain maps.

Beast Farming is awesome, i did Legion on dunes with Beast and with the Copy Sextant its really worth it. The big problem is the Menagerie, once its full the game starts randomly deleting old Beasts and there is no efficient way to clear it. You just have to clear out the Menagerie by hand every couple maps, if you get 28 beasts on one map it fills up really fast. I hope they do an overhaul of the whole storing system for beasts.

Why should you look on these beasts to identify froggies? Any downsides of killing all the beasts on the map and sometimes checking your bestiary tab for craicics?

i do these on league start , i always play some kind of raider trapper and speed run low tirer maps with beast and essences
u can also add harbingers but in league start scenerio u not gonna have points to put on everything so u gotta choose
hopefully my enlgish is good enough for ppl to understand
