The Disappearance of Ms. Pac-Man

So, in 2018 Basic Fun out of Florida with license from Bandai Namco produced a Ms Pac-Man mini arcade LED based game that is definitely NOT Pac-Girl or Pac-Marie.
Entire video under the premise that Ms Pac-Man is gone by 2017: total waste of time and effort because lack of research into the actual subject matter nd too much time focusing on the Pac-Store event and whatever meaning it may or may not have.

Actually the most recent Ms. Pac-Man rerelease was in 2016 when Namco rereleased Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, and yes Ms. Pac-Man under Arcade Game Series on PS4 and Xbox One

"Ms." and "Miss" are not pronounced the same, nor do they mean the same thing.

A bit off topic but can we talk about how smart it was that they changed Pac-Man's name? Let me explain:

You know how we describe the sound of Pac-Man eating as "Waka waka"? Well the original sound in mind was more of a "Paku paku" or "puck puck" as that is the sound used to describe eating in Japan. Because of this they were originally going to name him Puck-Man but Namco made the clever decision to change the name last second as they were worried about vandals changing the P to an F.

They might as well bring back Spiral and Cylindria from the Ghostly Adventures into the main design canon

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans

. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.

If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do.

It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him.

it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power again, through His power and instruction).

He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.

He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.

He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.

Ms Pac-Man was always one of my favorite characters in the series so it's unfortunate to not have her show up in the franchise or even make a cameo appearance but if that where to happen witch I doubt it will they would have to pay loyalties becuase general competer corporation made the game rather then namco but hopefully this issue will be resolved soon because I would love to see her make her glorious return to the series

Ms. is pronounced "miz," not "miss."

Ms. Pac-Man also isn't in the new Pac-Man World Re-Pac. She's replaced with "Pac-Mom."

Just an FYI - the Ms doesn’t mean Miss.

“Miss” means not married, “Mrs” means married, and “Ms” means unspecified or unknown. It’s pronounced “Mizz”.

Idk why but i love Ms. Pacman and not seeing her be used more often along with Pacman is upsetting. I wish that Namco could just buy her rights back so that they could make more games with her and include her as an alternate skin for Pacman in Smash lol

Sheesh, I could understand why those Pac-Man World villains stopped appearing in Pac-Man games because the Pac-Man World trilogy, as much as I liked those games, were nowhere near as popular or well-received as the original arcade game. But, now we can't even count on Ms. Pac-Man to be a recurring character in Pac-Man games anymore?

Pac-Man has got to be one of the most inconsistent game series of all time. With each new decade of Pac-Man games, it's as if they're starting off from scratch. Pac-Man and the ghosts are the only recurring characters. I bet you that, if they make another console Pac-Man game, Pac-Mom, Pac-Sis, and Pac-Boy will be mysteriously absent.

Because of this Im buying Ms. Pacman's game in Steam rn before its too late.

I honestly think the At Game's ordeal could end up like the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie controversy. We just need enough backers to protest which I don't think would be hard if we get a news outlet about this since everyone and their Grandma knows Ms. Pac-Man.

AtGames is likely gonna go out of business sooner than later so… we might see her return in the future.

I actually worked at Namco (Namco Networks, Inc.) and was brought in to do two depositions regarding Ms. Pac-Man during the arbitration, where I sat in the room with the judge and the GCC guys. I was in charge of porting the games to mobile devices, so I was brought in to discuss some of the technical aspects, presumably because they wanted to clarify certain terms. I was not privy to the contract proper, but I remember there were issues about antiquated language like "CRT" and whatnot. "coin-op" was probably in there, too, but I wasn't asked about that. Anyway, I never knew the terms of the final settlement, and I left the company shortly thereafter. When I came back to Bandai Namco mobile in 2013, where I was put in charge of producing what became Pac-Man + Tournaments, and I had to beg the legal dept, to tell me where the tripwires were as regards Ms. Pac-Man, because we in modifying Pac-Man didn't want to run afoul of Ms. and end up owing royalties on a game that wasn't Ms. Pac-Man. So they gave me a list of no-nos, like not to use any of the maze layouts, the bouncing bonus items or the ones unique to Ms., and to steer away from anything like how GCC randomized the ghost behavior. I also was in charge of updating the Ms. Pac-Man ports for iOS and Android, and my recollection was by this point Pac-Man typically outsold Ms. by a large margin, so perhaps Pac-Man being an established icon managed to still draw players who didn't grow up with it but Ms. Pac-Man did not. That's just a guess.
