Which Arkham Game has the BEST Story?

Please flame me for the amount of times I said “story” in this video.

Knight was mine, just all the ending of scarecrow catwoman Jim just truely felt like the end

I'm not sure why but Arkham Knight swings so high which is really cool but falls flat on the villain front for sure. Otherwise I think it has a great narrative

I always liked Origins but I personally never liked Joker being in the game as the main villain. Black Mask is my second favorite Batman Villian and he got shafted in this game so yeah for that alone I don't like it the most, that being said Bane in this game > Any other Game/movie. Also the same can be said about Knight like I have literally that same opinion Scarecrow is my favorite Villian and I felt near the end he was kinda shafted For Joker and Like yeah the Joker stuff was cool and all but, I dunno I could have done without it.
Maybe I'm just tired of Joker lol

I totally agree with you, I always say Origins have the best story in the Arkham series. And that why I’m mad because they didn’t Remastered it for PS4/5.

I almost fought an old lady in a GameStop for this game. Worth it 😭 and waiting on the remaster

my only problem with Arkham knight having the best gameplay would be batman feels like he hits enemies you can't hit like shield, taser stick, and brutes more. like he was singling them out because they can break combos and hurt you to add some difficulty

I hate to say it, but I HATED the Batmobile in AK and the ending pissed me off royally so it's the garbage for it for me.

Origins easily. Knight is so dissapointing if I were to place number 2 id go for Asylum and my problem with city is that as many characters there were I felt the foreshadow of the actual villain kinda fails in my opinion.

I remember being so disappointed by Arkham City's story. It's a great game, but the story was such a missed opportunity. The whole premise was a section of the city being turned into a giant prison which is such a cool idea, but the story almost has nothing to do with it! It's all about finding the cure for Joker, a little bit with protocol 10, then back to Joker's cure again.

Think of what they could've done with a premise like City's. You could've had a plot where Hugo Strange built it to lure in Batman, knowing he couldn't resist, and use it to slowly break him down mentally, and the whole thing was one big trap. There could've been a mass breakout attempt. Anything other than Strange wanting to kill criminals and finding Joker's cure.

Bro that isn't THE ENDING of Origins, that's the epilogue. "The ending" is a lot of things, from Batman and Gordon having their first full conversation and implicit agreement on being partners off the books, to Joker's obsession with Batman being born out of how baffled he was after Batman saved his life for the first time, to Bruce and Alfred making amends and Alfred wishing him merry Christmas. The video is good but that specific criticism was very stupid.

It’s easily City and Knight isn’t even a conversation when it comes to that games story. Only thing it has is good gameplay.

Arkham origins is my favourite of the series, I love every second of the story gameplay is solid and the assassins are sick 😂😂😂 I love Arkham origins and I don’t understand the hate I think it’s by far the best in the series and some of the best Batman story telling. Bane…… death stroke…… wow, even firefly was sick

Origins is sooo good I loved it from the day I got it and Christopher Drakes music was so good my only problem is bc of I am the knight mode I hate solving the Lacey towers but the cutscene under the gcpd where Bruce properly figures it out is one of my favourites in the game

The twist where Ras al Gul was behind protocol 10 wasn't that shocking to me. It seemed to fit in with his m.o. My issue is it was shocking to Batman. Ras al Gul shows up in Arkham City and Batman doesn't question it? Hugo Strange knows everything that goes on in Arkham but ignores the fact there are ninja assassins running around his super prison? Batman is supposed to be a detective but he's unable to put these pieces together.

I love all the Arkham games sadly origins doesn't have a remake so I can't really say what one is the best

Origins was terrible all around . Except for the side missions.story sucked due to being another joker story where he overshadow everyone. I wanted black mask to shine . Me personally I like him better than joker. Joker is overused . Joker stole the spotlight from black mask. Game was originally supposed to not include joker but fanboys wanted him for some odd reasons.
Black mask was supposed to be the main villain in origins .

Ngl, Hugo giving updates on how long is left until Protocol 10 is a really neat detail that gives you the idea that time is actually moving in the game

I don’t think city is the best in any category. Origins has the best story. Knight has the best world and gameplay. Asylum has the best atmosphere. Every time I play through this series city is the least enjoyable part. Not that it’s not good. They are all good. Just in my opinion city is the weakest game.

Knight is my personal favourite, Scarecrow and Red Hood are some of my favourite characters so having them play such big roles was awsome to see. The stakes ans scope of the game was also amazing.

Also, I don't see this brought up anywhere, but I think Knight handled side missions the best. Not to say they were overall better than the other games, but they were better intergrated into the story. City sets the stakes so high that anything you do outside the main story feels like wasting time when there's more important work to do. While Knight has intervals where the situation calms down and they encourage you to "take back control of the city" which make the sode missions feel more intertwined with the narrative. Especially since many of them are directly connected to the main plot, like all the villians having truces with each other to destroy Batman

Here's the thing when I play through the series, Arkham City is the one I least enjoy, I get bored very quickly. Arkham Origins is the one I most enjoy playing through.

Soooooo hot take!! Arkham Origins is a great game ... now. I think people keep forgetting the story, the Joker twist, and the game pass are not the main reason the game was controversial. It was the sorry state the game was when they released it. Remember it was a PS3/360 game in a time where most people weren't downloading patches or connecting systems to the internet for more than online play. It took me a week to do the last mission because i found out the game crashes unless you approach the bridge from the direction he does in the cut scene. If i did not look it up, it would've remained unfinished. They eventually patched out all the gamebreaking bugs but that doesn't change the messy release

I sadly never was able to play arkham city without knowing the plot twists, but even so, the amount of details about Clayface being Joker were so many that i was astonished no one guessed it, the thugs talk about how he is a different person and much more, that made me love even more the story and its replay value

Without watching the video yet. Origins has the best story. Asylum has the best atmosphere, City has better Boss fights. And Knight has the best fighting animation and Predator challenges.
But several character arcs in a three act structure. Means Origins has the best story.

We didnt even mention the Multiplayer, Origins was my favorite for years and everyone always hated it, the Voice Acting was so fucking great with Batman and Joker, music was great, the atmosphere of being somewhat alone (no sidekick or Cat-woman mentioned).
