Yo, but a family friend of mine visited this restaurant (I think) before the show and not gonna lie they all liked the food here, lol. It was greasy, and oily but sauce was bomb, it was loaded with cheese and the dough was thick but fluffy not dense. They always described this place as a good restaurant while watching the show.

It is funny to watch, but you can tell most of these foods are not as bad as they make them look like.
Also obviously everything is set up for the show.
Like this restaurant probably just needed some help for renovation and a new menu but I don't think it was that bad to begin with.

I always watch this when I want to get hungry xD

Whenever a dish -pizza or otherwise - is overloaded like that, you can be sure the ingredients are as cheap and low quality as they come.

Seems a little over dramatised...this whole I ran a business for 30 years but didn't save 1 cent and if it goes bust we straight up die as a family is exageratted. If it isn't than it's at least contradictory....if you are so grumpy and think you are the best and want to do everything yourself why whould you call in some self proclaimed guru tv chef? Maybe I'm analyzing a tv cooking show too much :))

How would one reduce the grease and/or oil in a pizza? It's crust, sauce, toppings, and cheese. If you've got sausage, or lunchmeat which is inherently oily you're going to get an oily pizza...
