Instead of punching holes and putting screws or snaps in it, why not just use clamps?
ОтветитьThank you so much! I made one 10 x 10 as a gift for a young man that loves D&D.
ОтветитьI’ve been watching George for years. Good luck on teaching. I’ll be watching you too.
ОтветитьThat Celtic Knot looks amazing!!
ОтветитьSir, is it necessary to use so much tissue ?
ОтветитьDidn't burnish the edges. Toconol and a slicker.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you dye it before the Chicago screws
ОтветитьPlease Where do you get the plastic for the raised ridge?the pattern
Thanks
Oh your gonna go ahead and
ОтветитьCRINGE VIDEO! You should be spraying saddle lac (or some kind of finish) once that GEL dries. Or do you want antique gel on your skin DAILY? Also wetting the leather after tooling is a big mistake! It Loosens the fibers. You should only be wetting the areas you need to bend/work with. which obviously is not the part you stamped out. Ugh. I'm sorry but I would expect more from Tandy Video's. Your brand is great no doubt! Take care folks!
ОтветитьThat would make a nice dice tray for Dungeons and Dragons too
ОтветитьGreetings the starting tool is the B802 Craftool® Beveler Stamp or B197?
ОтветитьWhy make when you can buy what you want custom made for you. Check out Wuna verstas on facebook. Best craft for reasonable money.

ОтветитьHe does GO AHEAD
Ответить"Beginner" means we don't have leather-working skills but cutting an actual square or centering a circle are within reach of most people
ОтветитьWhere's a good place to get leather scraps?
ОтветитьNever cut towards yourself
Ответитьwhen doing a lot of tooling, how do you handle stretching of the leather?
ОтветитьWhat products do you use on pre dyed leather? I have some beautiful hibiscus pink using it for purses and I’d love to add some leather work on the front of it. I’m a true beginner on this type of leather work.
ОтветитьGreat channel great content, just go ahead and have a think that if you can’t go ahead and present a video without going ahead and saying go ahead 4 times every minute you might want to go ahead and get someone else to go ahead and present for you👍
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks.
ОтветитьIt;s good to see Mr. Hurst in your videos. Tandy has made a lot of money off me because of the tools he has shown me. I made a couple of these valets for personal use. I used 3 to 4 oz. and glued together so it would look finished on both sides and use snaps rather than Chicago screws so it would lay flat in my suitcase while traveling. I used the top rounded cap on both side of each corner to keep the look cleaner. That's how I personalized what I made from your demo. Thanks for making the video.
Ответитьwhat about the presentation of the tools!!!!!
ОтветитьAwesome guys. Thank you for posting
ОтветитьWonderful
Ответитьso glad NASA doesn't eyeball square cuts le you do
ОтветитьDo you think you could say "go ahead" one more time? Go on. Just for me.
Ответитьdo you not slick the edges of something like this? like the tooling not really the design of the trey though
ОтветитьWhere can i find good leather stencils?
ОтветитьTalk about missed the centre...
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьWhat size Chicago screw did you used for this project?
ОтветитьThe traced outline was not very clear, when Michael finished using the craftaid. Consequently the lines were not showing where the swivel knife was to be used.
ОтветитьWhat material is the board you are doing all of this on?? I'm having trouble figuring out which board to use for what. Poly boards, granite, set healing mats are what I keep hearing. Which is best for which part of a leather project?

Ответитьi'm going to go ahead and try this myself and go ahead and start my project by going ahead and shutting down this video and hoing ahead and follow your instructions.
ОтветитьCan/how one go about doing this dye process with multiple colours? Like if I wanted the negative space inside the circle to remain the natural colour?
ОтветитьI think he said "go ahead" about 8000 times.
Ответитьthank you for sharing. can i ask what kind of leather should i use for carving.
ОтветитьTime and time again I've read that antiquing gel is NOT for use on the flesh side of leather, and yet Tandy pros still use it that way all the time... Which advice should we be following?
ОтветитьThis makes me nervous. Welcome to Michael, nice job - but does this mean our George is retiring or semi-retiring...?
Ответитьthank you for sharing. its something I would like to get into.
ОтветитьGood morning ,why can you die leather after you drawn on the middle, before bending ages?
