Why Do Asus ROG Pre-Builts Suck So Bad?

The truth is, I don't know how ASUS came up with the idea of ​​soldering the damn processor to the cooler.
I sold this PC to a friend and after he asked me to clean it, I removed the cooler and surprise surprise, it is literally stuck to the processor.
Now I'll have to buy a new processor along with a cooler since I can't place the processor properly on the motherboard without the fucking cooler getting in the way.

Asus builds a lot of nice looking garbage. They're basically the Apple of the PC business.

ROG rebuild without ROG parts ... no ROG mobo, no ROG gpu, and i am pretty sure there are no ROG psu

i have an asus pre built (g10dk), bought it at walmart for like 800 dollars...it came with a ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Phoenix V2 Graphics card (single fan)...fan on the graphics card gave out after just one year, i replaced it with a zotac gaming 4060 ti 16gb cost me $480...went from having 90 degree temperatures on the graphics to 58 degrees now while gaming.

And you would rather buy alienware

I bought as ASUS ROG M16 laptop and I regret it every day. Armory crate is some of the worst software I have ever used, the laptop is noisy to the point it interferes with concentrating on work, it gets so hot you can't hold it. I will never buy asus again.

I would rather have a more plain looking case with good ventilation than this RGB they sometimes appear to be substituting ventilation for. It is a reason that some prebuilts suck aside from not being able to set the memory speed and coming with an SSD with terabytes of bloatware.

HP is like that too. They show a really good CPU cooler in their advertising and the real computer has some mediocre cooler that looks like it is from the early 2000s and taken from a Dell. I am one of many people who would not buy a Dell. If the power supply in a Dell ever fails hopefully it is something you can get a replacement for but some of them have a weird power supply

I’d say the main issue with prebuilts are the proprietary motherboards but asus actually manufactures real motherboards so they’re going to use better motherboards in their prebuilts

I bought one of these. That front air flow vent...yeah...mine is a 1.5" hole I bored with a holesaw and put a 120mm fan pulling air in. These are garbage.
