Epic Badminton Coaches

Clearly the shuttle was out and Lin Dan was actually right. Ofcourse players work their ass of to win and when the shuttle is clearly out by a wide range and called in he is going to fight and be angry about it. If the line judges/umpires are bribed who is verify this? The umpires/referees are completely drunk with power and useless. BWF should keep them and their wrong calls in check too. But I dunno what is BWF doing!

The only epic coach here was the one with the shoe. All others tried negatively harm the sport by insulting the umpire. Human's make mistakes, but rules are quite simple. The Umpire has the final decision and he does not have any kind of reason to benefit a different player. He or she is trying to keep the game fair and has good intent. Altho the outcome sometimes won't always be perfect or won't be an outcome one of the player likes.

The net shot call was actually a great and correct one between the Korean and Indonesian team. But the call with the last one on the Lin Dan game was clearly wrong. However, an Umpire can only overrule something if he is sure about it. Otherwise you trust your line judge. 99% of times the calls are correct.

Genuinely speaking, I believe that the conflict between LinDan and coach LiMao can be avoided, it is a shame that he can't challenge the umpire's decision like nowadays. And personally speaking, I believe that the ball was out.

Giving his own shoes to the opponent was a really great heart deed, no doubt.
However, as for Li Mao, he cannot be considered an epic coach for his upsporty, rude, and dishonest behaviour in that particular case. He is a very good coach, but not a person.

After this players not only have to carried 5-6 rackets but also a pair of shoes in they racket bag...

That is not about a good coach or a bad coach, it is about fairness or not. If some umpire can not make the right call and ruin everyone's effort, of course, the coach has the right to be angry.
