Bad Timing

Im really considering this school and I want to major in film and I this gave me a lot of insight of what to expect :)

Okay, extremely critical point of view from me: everything about this is uninteresting. The cinematography is stale and cliche. There's nothing but over the shoulders and still cams. Maybe even the lense choice could be a bit better and a bit more intimate. The writing is basic, feels unnatural, and lacks any tension between the character's motives. I mean, the acting isn't great, but I'm not gonna bash the actors if I don't think they were given a good script. That's just impossible. Now, I'm only 2 minutes in. Maybe it gets way better from here, but I don't see the point if a 17-minute short film failed to engage the viewer AFTER the main conflict has already been presented. Also, as a high school student, I am not going to be attending this university to get a film degree.
