I think the biggest reason is hololive is a female only. It would be awkward as a male streamer meeting a female you know wearing underwear only in a game.

Miko isn't good at giving orders to others and could only have expectations, which caused some issues. The atmosphere of the chat became a bit tense at times, but since it was impromptu, it was accepted as inevitable. If leader-type figures like Fubuki or Towa were to step in and support the event's organization, things would probably run more smoothly, but it might take away the spontaneity and autonomy

nijigta is more proper RP and more cinematic on the story , cause some of them is alr veteran they play on VCR GTA (allhail to GOD FAMILY) (Kuzuha and Lauren Iroas) ive been following them since then
hologta is more to the fun side cause many talent is new to the GTA RP , but the nijigta is very funny to watch too!

This clip has seiously misrepresented how the Niji GTA server really was. Uploader you really need to do a better job and put some disclaimers. FYI, no, the Niji GTA event wasn't this uptight DnD campaign type of vibe that people are thinking it is, it was just more RP oriented due to the large number of people and also because it was based of previous events like VCR GTA. If you think it's less fun than the Holo gta event then fine, your opinion, but don't shit on it out of nowhere because a lot of holo girls and guys participated in VCR GTA 1 and 2 which was basically just like Niji GTA.

Also, again it wasn't that serious, cops cosplaying as aliens going to strip clubs, taxi drivers doing breaking bad drug business, there was even someone literally selling shit in a restaraunt.

Don't get me wrong, Nijisanji has been going down the drain for me recently with their black company actions, but I think a lot of people actually misunderstand how the Niji GTA event actually went on. Most issues actually came from certain fans who shit on Kanae and Hoshikawa who organised the event (the suisei and miko of niji GTA). And don't tell me thats an exclusive niji thing because did yall forget how haters treated miko after the various minecraft sports events.

But I'm not writing this to deny what Shiina said here, mkre like clarifying the reason. In Holo they are very tight knit because of the smaller scale of the members, it always feels like the members all know each other even if they aren't close. Niji really is a streamer company through and through with subsets of people who are close to each other, and others who are basically strangers to each other. So the amount of things they could get away with doing to each other depended on how close they were to each other.
Things like trolling each other and some crude remarks did happen, but amongst people who were close or from the same generation (or started to get close during this event). About lewd things yes, it wasn't as present because they are mixed gender, but I don't think that's any valid criticism? Do you need something to be lewd for it to be entertaining, surely that's not the only selling point of the wonderful holo girls by any means to you? Just different flavours of entertainment.

I don't really watch Niji, so I didn't know anything about their GTA event. But after HoloGTA ended, I was of the opinion that 7 days was a bit too short. 2 weeks probably would've been too long tho, so I thought maybe 10 days would've been good. Looks like the Niji people had the same opinion as me. I hope the next HoloGTA would follow the same idea!

Serious roleplay is fun&cool when everyone takes it seriously, but just being funky&silly is fun&funny too if everyones in on it

HoloGTA gave you a major highlight no matter the member you were watching: Okayu's butt jiggles, Sora/Azki pole dance arc, the bakery family, Fuwamoco shenanigans, Laplus trying to flirt with Towa, Fubuki Bondrewd, Kanade being Kanade, and so on. Even members like Kronii which barely showed up provided a huge spotlight.

The fact NijiGTA went absolute radio silence on the other hand tells you everything.

hololive gta was something i didn't know i needed, normally i would avoid gta rp because i think it's cringe, toxic and boring, but i had so much fun, and laughed so much i really really enjoyed it

A few years ago it felt like holo was the group that was more bound by weird rules and etiquette, while niji had that freedom and creativity.

Now the roles seem almost completely swapped.

This is why I avoid make comparing niji and holo argument anymore because it fell to like the Sub vs Dub argument all over and man the similiarity of the cause are the same, Niji EN shennaningans make it all chaotic which make overseas perception with Niji as a whole despite the EN are the one still on recieving end shattered.

In case anybody are using this to attack on any other company. First of all its not that Hololive are having more fun because they "actually" have fun, the fact is during both events both vtubers from respective companies are having fun its just that the rule are different and the people are different, there are probably stuff that happened in NijiGTA that HoloGTA was unable to do too.

NijiGTA was very fun to watch. Obviously one of the biggest difference in NijiGTA compared to HoloGTA is because in NijiGTA there are a lot more people joining because they combined the JP, KR and EN branch so there is always something going on everywhere which also means the mechanics, the medics, the police, and store owners have to work harder than in Holo simply because stuff happened all the time everywhere, this made them have less time to goof around like Okayu as a mechanic. Many of them are not taking things seriously especially around their own friend group or gangs but even then when a liver calls after their car broke down most of the time it is best to just come and fix their car and then leave so to not waste both of their time unless if both livers know each other then they would goof around. Most of the time the livers themselves does not know the other livers who called their shop or in need of their help and considering how chaotic it was, calls for mechanic and medic could come at any minute. That is why NijiGTA often looks as if they are taking things more seriously even though they really not.

The vtubers themselves will have to meet a lot of new people who are other nijisanji members whom they otherwise would never know before the event which is why the communication and playfulness between the livers are often not as close when compared to in HoloGTA where almost all of the members are already known each other for a long time.

But to make things even more clearer, Its not that there were no vulgar stuff happening there. It is maybe limited, in the sense that not everyone is doing it, but a lot of stuff did happened lmao.

I think one key detail that people forget when talking about HoloGTA or NijiGTA, even VCR, is the fact that both have Shobosuke and his team as support. Not to say that either server's gods didn't do any work. They all did tons of behind the scenes work with meetings once the servers close about balance updates with support staff and other more experienced members that even lasted until 10 am. But the model that limited event servers like VCR, NijiGTA or HoloGTA use is based around Shobosuke's Street Graffiti (STGR) aka Stogura server.

STGR is a full on RP server that's been going on for 2 years where you have to create a character and play that role using whatever backstory, personality, or interactions that character has. There are serious dramatic moments where streamers get so into their roles that they cry IRL, and there are genius level comedic moments that are endlessly rewatcheable. Both exist in the same server, both sides of the same coin. NijiGTA was that. Hoshikawa's main goal behind the event was to show people the good points of STGR but with existing interaction between the livers. HoloGTA was a mix of chaos and the latter, with some serious moments peppered in. All three are great and endless sources of enjoyment that exist on their own merits and have their own unique flavor.

This comment section honestly gives off an impression that most English speaking Hololive fans are narrow-minded and tunnel-visioned, who are trapped in their own bubble and echo chamber without knowing what's going on on the larger vtubing sphere, particularly the JP scene.

I mean apart from HoloGTA some of them doesn't even know the existence of other GTA RP servers like Niji GTA RP, VCR RP, or STGR, yet insist one is superior than the other and make it sounds like it is a matter of fact. It's hilarious and pretty disappointing to see all the same, really.

I think the main reason the girls couldn't run around in underwear in the Niji server is because a lot of guys were also playing unlike in the Holo server

Because I'm more into FPS and hardcore gameplay, I found NIJIGTA more interesting... VCRGTA vibes, The match between police and gangs are damn fun. The interactions between male and female livers are also very... cursed but fun. Like the marriage, cabbaret, and all that stuff 😂 They also had few dramas, like in the police force and cartels and it reminded me a lot of STGR, which I enjoyed (mainly なるせ's pov)

Of course, I found HOLOGTA quite fun too. But I only watch it thru Towa's POV and comparing her now to when she's still in VCRGTA, asking なるせ for advice, literally made me teared up. She's so good now

NijiGTA was so fun cuz if you watched from the police side, it was like a whole movie. Seriously they could make a movie from it.
Other than that, it was also fun to see the unexpected interactions between the livers, like the Enigma team (kuzuha, leos, meloco, and furen) and they had such a solid teamwork.
I also never expected to see Ver and Kaida interact in the game too😂. Introverts unite lmao

regardless of what anyone thinks whether its Niji or Holo gta. i think we can all agree on one thing:
1. Korone's Red Wedding was a soap opera level love triangle.
2. Rai Nyannyan Arc was the best love-comedy anime in recent years.

The issue with nijisanji was their mix with male stars and female stars. So their attention shifted to each other than the audience, plus each gender are more limited when they are around other gender compared to having fun with same gender. Boys x boys best and girls x girls is best

The difference is already clear. I watched Nijigta because of the mix of people. I looked at hologta for CGDCT,
I carry out both companies' cultures by avoiding comparisons.

If I want to see the server that has the most streamers and vtubers, I look at VCR. nothing more than that

But you don't have to tell people that hologta is better than other servers when you don't know anything and have no interest in watching them.

ホロライブのリスナー層は男子中高生orおじさんしかいないということを再確認しました。
対してにじさんじは、ボケる人が多いです。これは凄いことです。
配信者は、ゲームやコメントに対して独り言をひたすら言う人達ですから、知らず知らずにツッコミになりがちです。
しかし、コラボになるとボケに振り切ることができるのがにじさんじライバーの凄いところだと思いました。
それに加えてツッコミが上手な人もにじさんじは多いです。
