im late to this but whats hilarious to me is that given the price of chanel.... for the 800+$ price tag, you got EXACTLY what you paid for. Where i work sells A LOT of chanel. whats insane is if you bought each product individually, including the stickers.... youre actually saving money with the advent calendar. You want designer youre gonna pay designer prices. Designer doesnt always mean good.

I'll just throw this out there, shop small! If you want something unique, there is plenty of handmade goods and its much better than paying a shit ton for what is inevitably mass produced garbage. I know it has a cool logo on it but at the end of the day 90% of the cost is the name. Btw most of us artists and small businesses give away stickers and items just as a thank you for buying... which means we give away what these poor people payed about $250 for 😂

Like I could understand why they used like testing samples but that price (825 usd!?!?!) Jesus, you would get more from a lego advent calendar, a beer calender or someone else said in the comments a fricking "adult" calender for maybe around half of the price of this cheep made junk.

I don't even understand the logic about the stickers. It does not seem to me like typical Chanel customers are the types of people to put stickers on things. But maybe I'm just prejudiced.

So they loaded up the advent calendar with samples and crap you get from those gumball machines in the super market. Nice.

So if you combine the larger bottle with the samples, you'll basically get a full bottle, which is $150. And with everything else of "quality" you get in it, in sample sizes.. this is probably at MOST $300 worth of products. This is so gross.

The worst part about it: the factory workers who probably made this stuff don't get payed enough. Plus I am convinced, that those are all leftovers that will probably expire soon. Like the only things of value in there is the bigger perfume and the two lipsticks (which almost look identical) and I guess the little book is okay too? But this is not even slightly worth 825 Euro. Also, this isn't even a regular bottle (the regular bottle costs around 250 Euro, which also seems extremly overpriced)

This is just Chanel in a nut shell. Chanel has become overpriced and overrated, even their handbags that always have been the epitone of quality and good customers service have become poor quality and the company thinks themselves that they are on the level of Hermés. Chanel is pushing up the prices for their leather goods because they don't want normal people who have saved up money to be able to purchase a handbag or other items to buy these items. They only want the rich and famous to be shown with their items. So they push up the prices and refuse to sell to people who don't look 'right' (read rich enough!) in their eyes. The most ridiculous is that very few of these rich and famous people who are wearing Chanel clothes, handbags, and other items have actually paid for their Chanel items. Most of them have been gifted it all by Chanel. They don't want miss Secretary or miss Sales Assistant to purchase their items even they have saved up from their hard earned money so the prices are going up and up but the quality is going down. And since their customers service has gone down too you can hardly have the items repaired anymore when they break. Chanel has developed into a scam which their Christmas calendar here shows...

I think the true question is who is more of a asshole? The company making it and putting out there and selling it? Or the customers who made this sold out immediately? Channel didn't hide what was in this advent calendar, so why such a outrage? It is a collector's item and it's part of history now. Especially if they don't ever do this again. Even if it is cheap stickers. If they will never ever do this again, those stickers will be worth more than $800
