My friend and I played a few hours on a server yesterday. Today I tried to invite him to a server I was hosting instead, but initializing kept freezing at 24% and not going any further. Also, a message appeared at the bottom in red: WARNING port 16262 is closed and this will affect performance severely. All threads and comments I've been browsing for the past hour and a half while trying to troubleshoot talk about advance port settings and creating a rule to open that port, but it's too complicated for me and I have no idea if I'm doing that right or if that's even the problem at all. Very frustrating, I'd like to spend my 2 hours of free time playing the game, not becoming a terrible computer hacker..

Is there a way to host a server without being friends on steam? A friend of mine is a streamer and wants to host for his community but doesnt want to add and whitelist each individual person. He also doesnt feel comfortable posting his IP address to find the server. Is there a way to seaech and find his specific server and join with a password?

when i created my server it stuck and said "authorizing with steam" how to fix that?

it show me "Your external ip: Unknow (No Router?)" and my friend joining like for 1h and still can't join
