Gu Patrol Extra Cab Chop

I have an FJ62 body waiting for this. It’s rusty and front is a good save to drop on an 80 chassis

Why would someone do that? Why chop a wagon and turn into a ute? Why not just buying a ute? Is there an advantage in doing this? Just curious really. Thanks

How did you sort out the engineering process, im 14 and I am a pretty capable kid, looking to chop a gu or 80 in the next few years, iv got all the tools but the only thing stopping me is sorting out the engineering process, i don’t even know where to start.
