ОтветитьBut then again. I don't want to get caught up in all that funky shit going down in the city. All forgiveness 😊😊

" I don't want to get caught up on the funky shit going down on the city."
Always have loved this band!!! Fantastic band, fantastic song!
ОтветитьOk- playing this in the key of A - unless they are tuned down a half step...,is the recording in a different key? Maybe the key of C...?
ОтветитьMy favourite song. Happy days.

ОтветитьThe song of my youth..Steve Miller Band, one of the best EVER. 70s Music all the way.Rock on....
ОтветитьWhat great 👍 music! Keep it going! This music is right on!
ОтветитьSteve Miller always holds his own. Honest man with honest music! Thank you for all the years.
ОтветитьThis is why Steve Miller Band is pathetic they've never played any real instruments that's all basic keys the scene is horrible there were a Flash in the Pan and this is a pathetic display of music f*** Steve Miller Band
ОтветитьThis is the only song l've watched of this song and l'm impressed. It's much better than a lot of what's around these days. If you break it down between musicians there's those that have maybe 3 songs that are top 40 or class in some ways. I'd rather listen to music that have two or three timeless songs on a number of their albums that for some amount to numerous albums. So that gives them great material.
ОтветитьI've been to all kinds of concerts since I was about 12. Walking to our ride from the park. Heard Steve miller singing the joker. Your the cutest thing I ever did see. Which leads me to live chat. In the beginning of isaiah in the bible. Isaiah says about exactly like I cannot talk for I am as a child. And God said about exactly like. Say not I cannot talk for I am a child. Later on he did God's bidding. I wish I could be part of live chat. But I would just be foolish. Love joe schwaninger
ОтветитьI can remember hearing this original version with the words " Funky shit going down in the city" which they quickly had changed to "funky kicks" That would be no big deal today!
ОтветитьThis is awesome and Steve's 70's output was stellar but he also had a boatload of awesome songs way before this 70's classic output. Go back to the original late 60's albums like Sailor and Children of the Future produced by Glyn Johns when Boz Scaggs was part of the band and you will hear writing and audio techniques that many people thought rivaled Sgt Pepper (see side 1 of Children of the Future). This radio friendly era was just one piece of his long career. Saw him at the Fillmore East circa-1968-69 and much later in the 2010s. The guy is an evergreen with well-conceived songs, velvet vocals and beautiful riffs. Enough said.
ОтветитьIf kids today only listen to music like this that lifts the heart and sole, American would be different..
ОтветитьThank you for posting
ОтветитьGreat
Ответитьgreat, a killer version, amazing
ОтветитьI love Steve Miller Band and this was a phenomenal performance. A lot of energy, the band is clearly tight…and I find it pleasantly hilarious that the cameraman exclusively catches all the MIILFs in the audience 😅. There were some pretty fine cougars there for sure!
ОтветитьAwesome!!!
