WAT A BEAST!!!!!
ОтветитьI have Toyota Highlander 2015 black give me your address
ОтветитьWhere are you loketed
ОтветитьSo it doesnt make a hard edge when you spray the clear blender all the way up to that tape line after you pulled the foam??
ОтветитьShouldn't it always be better to leave the hardline on the edge so it's harder to see and not the flat part of the panel?
Ответитьno greater teacher then experience...I honestly wondered where you learned this and gotta say that from your ability to explain everything so well, it does show you took the long hard road but that is what makes your workmanship so enjoyable to watch; but I also like your friendly candor and humble approach. thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. gonna watch many others you have. 🙂
ОтветитьInspiring stuff. I need to know, could you do this kind of blend on metallic paint job but clear coat respray only? I want to reclear my roof and do a my fade outs toward the top of the 4 main pillars. I honestly don't care if the areas that peeled remain somewhat discoloured, it's an old car and I just want to roof to be glossy again. Would I be able to get by with some aerosol 2k a hit of the blender on the fade areas and a good wet sand/buff to finish? Or is there more to it?
ОтветитьIs scuffing to 1000 for clear coat blend too fine? I read various opinions to use 400, 600, or 800. Id like to use 1000 to 1200 if possible without worrying about delamination issues.
ОтветитьGreat blending tips , thanks for taking the time to do show us diy guys ...🖖👍👍👍
ОтветитьGood job
Ответитьhello Bryan what is used for Blender in solvent paint? in my case I use ppg solvent paint, thanks
ОтветитьThanks for the info I appreciate what you have helped me with!!!
Ответитьdislike cause the intro was loud as heck.
ОтветитьThanks Brian,, excellent blending, job 💯
ОтветитьTop man
ОтветитьOverlapping clear coat in centre ?
Does this not double the product in the centre ??
Thanks bro.
You a legend Mate , love Your work 😊
ОтветитьWhat ratio hardener did you use for the clear blend coat?
ОтветитьWhat i didn't understood.. You sprayed that Standox smart blend over cured clear or straight away? I guess is the same product as Axalta 790. Both made by the same company
Ответитьcan i use 1k clear coat as a clear base?
ОтветитьTy
ОтветитьThat’s amazing work right there. We’re I work they want it done one way and that’s it. In that case I would have did my base blend then cleared the whole quarter panel, and I learned a lots from these vids.
ОтветитьThank you for your time to teaching me how to blend my own car.
Ответитьwhy music? we want to watch and learn,,,not DANCE!
ОтветитьIncredibly informative and love the way you blend this panel. I learned something new!! Thank you
ОтветитьWe got to keep this going or we'll be replaced by robots or made in China. 😆
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat about the bumper in such a repair? I guess it was not painted, so there still could be a color difference between the fender. Did you do anything to blend the colors between them, or is it something that can be skipped because it's not a flat surface and human eye wont catch it?
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the wetbed product u use
Ответитьi dont understand why you have to go all the way to the edges of the panel for such a small spot repair? why not just paint the spot and do the blend within just a few inches from the spot? i see a lot of painters do that for small spot repairs.
ОтветитьI just painted my first repair to my wife’s van! I give you some credit for my success, I didn’t have everything I really wanted for the job and I will still need to do some of the other panels but it turned out great! Thanks Brian!
Ответитьkudos to you young man, self taught...much respect...
ОтветитьGreat video and explanations! Would something upol blend #9 be used in the last step for those of us without spray equipment?
ОтветитьBryan, I am a subscriber, and I watch all of you episodes. I recently painted my 1969 Dodge Dart and completely screwed it up! can I contact you? and if so how?
ОтветитьGreat blend. it's been over 50 years since I worked in a body shop after 3 years of body work class in high school. I just needed a refresher on the paint and clear blend. Got it! Thanks!
ОтветитьThat's badass .
ОтветитьCould you please tell me the soft edge tape you used in the video? Thank you
ОтветитьHi , In work say i do a 5 inch dent repair on a bonnet or wing , I fill and primer the dent then i 1500 wet and dry about 14 inches in all directions , I base the repair and about 2 inches over then i clear over base and about 3 inches over but staying inside my 1500 , But when i flat and mop it the day later i get a spray effect line under my clear ?? why is this
ОтветитьThank you man!!!
ОтветитьWhy no completely finished results? I wanted to see how closely the new paint matched the old!
ОтветитьI normally see you doing final prep with 600 or 800 grit. Why the 1000 for this particular job? Thanks!
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьYoure the picasso of car painting!
ОтветитьSorry i know this video is older but when you used ur clear blender how did u avoid some kind of line where your plastic was masked right above the body line?
ОтветитьI need to do a blend and was wondering if there is any way I could send you a picture of my car and if you could tell me where I should blend it exactly. I have a very unique ride. I am not a pro at all but I did do work on my 2 cars only because of your videos. Please let me know if I could message you privately. Thanks
ОтветитьYou need to speak louder and slow down when you explain process. Good job thanks.
ОтветитьHow long do you leave base coat before clear and do you sand metallic base coat before clear coat cheers tony
ОтветитьThat's why you are the Master of the Master to cut the paint like that. 😉
ОтветитьGreat job!
ОтветитьWhat kind of sprayer do you use for wax and grease remover? Ive tried to different bottlea and it leaks(evaporates) out.
Ответить
