One thing that is overlooked about Fire Magic is the effect of the Blind spell. So, if you attack a blinded enemy, it will retaliate when awakened from blind, but depending on the fire magic skill, it will be either 50% of normal damage (basic fire magic/none at all) , 25% dmg (advanced) and NO RETALIATION on expert Blind. SO, you cast expert Blind on an enemy, then cast slow, then you can attack it with a powerful unit , attack it with archers and then blind it again before it has a chance to act.

So which is which? Which one do you actually say is the good one and which is bad, its impossible to know when you say the wrong name when pointing at the icons

ОтветитьI like mysticism. Especially when I play Luna. Her Firewall isn't that costly and regenerating even 5 points a day can save you a painstaking journey back to the castle 🙂, let alone spending there whole night 🙂

ОтветитьIn most PvP maps, town portal, dimension door and haste are banned, making Water and Fire magic way more competitive against them.

ОтветитьConsidering this video is meant for beginners you use a lot of terminology that make no sense to new players. What the hell is a Jebus Cross, What the hell is a pandora box. Maybe you should do a video for beginners that explain what this strange language you HOMM 3 players speak is. All in not so helpful for new players cos we don't understand what your saying half the time.

ОтветитьFirst Aid is for small maps when you play high Hp units early on. Generally not a pick, but there are some niche games where it can work
ОтветитьLearning should be more like the Heroes 5 version where you get an extra primary skill every 5/4/3 levels.
With Sorcery, it would be cool if they made it so that it can also penetrate magic resistance, so it lowers enemy magic resistance by 10%/20%/30%. Maybe make it so that it resists Interference too.
Mysticism, maybe it could regenerate a portion of the spell points spent during combat after you win, like 15%/30%/45%.
They should rework the skills imo
Incorporate scouting into eagle eye.
Incorporate learning into scholar.
Ballistics and first aid into one skill, call it field works.
They could do the same for some of the others as well, like putting mysticism into sorcery and maybe bake luck and estates together. Not so sure about that. But the first 6 i mentioned definitely needs it. Learning and eagle eye is especially useless.

ОтветитьEyo, water magic has CLONE. Clone the Archangel, resurrect with that clone, repeat. It's a specific case with Castle, but still, clone also takes retaliation from the opponent, it attracts opponents to be hit instead of the army, etc.

also what you know about Forgetfulness ? cause thats amazing water magic, Myth and Teleport also verry usefull WM so you better try these in game before you talk bad about WM
Diplomacy is absolutely the best early on. Absolute top priority.

Logistics, Earth, Air, Luck. The rest can be a gamble (to make every game play different). Combined with Town Portal and you will always win.
The most useless:
diplomacy, eagles eye, intelligence, water, path finding,
It depend on your needs to win the game.
ОтветитьI haven't played in years, but I always loved getting Pathfinding and Logistics to be able to move around the map longer and further to defend if needed or to surprise someone by coming out of nowhere from really far away. Maybe I am crazy or was doing it wrong, but the only spell masteries I remember using often was Air? For Mass Haste and you needed to have max level in order for the spell to cast on everyone. Maybe I am wrong, again, been a long time. I still do have Heroes of M&M 4, but have not played that in several years. (I tried HoMM5, but did not like it for some reason).
ОтветитьEarth Magic, Logistics, base H3 diplomacy, Wisdom, Offence, Armorer. 7th and 8th skill would be pathfinding, second magic school, tactics. Then Intelligence and resistance. Anything else is probably either a waste of skill slot or "oh well i have to pick something"

The rest is just garbage.
I cant believe he said water magic is useless. Water magic has some of the most important spells which is dispell and cure. Do you realize you cannot dispell your units without water magic? I could use berserker on your army over and over again and destroy it without making a single move with my units.

Water magic worst? Do you ever heard about clone? Cure(much useful than dispel)?? Teleporting?! Mass Weakness? Mass Bless? YOu mistake pathfinding with Logistic .. Wisdom, Leadrship(except Necropolis), Offense, Earth magic, Logistic, Air Magic - almost always need!...If you play Castle, Fortress, Tower, Rampart you need water magic! If you Play Stronghold, Inferno, Dungeon - you need Fire magic. But if you Play Tower or Necropolis you can have all magic... You need Archery if you Play Tower, useful for Castle, Dungeon and Stronghold. YOu need Armory...specially with Fortress, Rampart...etc....there is alot combinations:
Tower Hero: Wisdom, Earth Magic, Water Magic, Air Magic, Archery, Luck and Logistic - ver1 (luck, archery, clone, bless, precision - combos)
Tower Hero: Wisdom, Earth Magic, Fire Magic, Air Magic, Sorcery, Offense, leadership, Logistic - ver 2 (most universal)
Tower Hero: Wisdom, Earth Magic, Air Magic, Inteligence, Armory, Sorcery, Logistic, Leadership - ver3 (armory +tanks, inteligence+sorcery)
For each town it look a bit different:)
Don't take Archery with Fortress or Inferno.

Earth magic: the best skill, should always be a priority.
Eagle eye: useless.
All good/decent skills: they're good but not as good as earth magic.
All bad/below average skills: they're crap but not as crap as eagle eye.

I don't care what anyone says, I like water magic lol.
