New Inks from Simon Says Stamp

I love how you got a total different look with these ink's than with distress ink's! I'm definitely going to try that out.

Love them both but the one with the ink smooshing is my favorite.  I love how much of a different look you can get with these inks and they don't get muddied up at all with this drier look.  These new inks are so bright and happy!  TFS, Heather

Hi Kristina. I'm sorry if you already mentioned this and I missed it. Do you moisten your absorber with stamp cleaner or just water? How often would you say you take them to the sink to rinse out? Do you just rotate them in the box and then rinse them all out at once? Thanks!! -Amy

Both of these cards are just beautiful, Kristina. The plaid one I didn't like at first, until it dried...and I think the gray-muted colors are beautiful without being too busy. I actually think I prefer the results of the smooshing technique with these inks to the distress inks. Very pretty.
I wanted to ask...have you switched totally to the mini distress inks? I probably have about 15 of the full-size pads and was thinking of switching to the minis for more space, and because they're cheaper...but I wanted to find out if the minis seem to need to be reinked a lot? Do you think the minis end up costing more in the end due to having to reink more often? And, do they seem to be just as effective for using the blending tool as the bigger ones? Anybody who has had the big distress inks, who have switched to the minis...I'd appreciate any/all input, opinions, etc. Thanks in advance! Xo

I am getting Copic Markers soon and I wont make anything like cards or art pieces to sell, I would only take stamps and color them in. So I was wandering what paper to use...

Have you tried to use Lawn Fawn inks for the smooshing technique? I learned that their formula lets their ink pads work like watercolors.
