I would be curious to know how much they spent on refurbishing the actual ride versus whatever was spent on the overlay. Splash is a very old ride and that is a risk when ride capacity is such a problem already.

All of the old, failing rides and declining ride capacity/uptime just tells guests that they don’t care about the guest experience. Priority seems to be about pushing guests toward Genie+ and Lightning Lane purchases.

I'm super behind on videos because my daughter and I flew down to do AP previews, we had 2 days, we got it on Day 1 (and thank goodness) because Day 2 it was down most of the day and they didn't release 1 PM passes. It was cute, fans of Tiana so a little biased, but it was a nice little refresher.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t agree with the fact that cast previews or any previews are there to get the kinks out at THIS level. The major pain points/breaking down at this volume should have been worked out before the ride is open to anyone. This is WILD and sort of inappropriate for Disney in my opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kyle, You need to remove Splash Mountain from your vocab. In a week it would sound more unprofessional when the ride opens to public. You should reach out to Tay (Taylor). She posted an updated photo of her at Magic Kingdom. She might be in town. She came in from CA it appears from her rumored trip.

So funny how many people complaining about the ride being down. Look at Disneyland’s history. Opening day of Disneyland was a nightmare. Still happening to this day. They will work out the kinks and pray it’s not like Rise of the Resistance. 😂

You pay all this $$$$ for admission and a lot of rides break down! Hall of president went down when I was there, along with railroad at Hollywood!

If you’re looking for a change of pace, might I suggest that you come back to California and visit Yosemite National Park. Lots of incredible and majestic things to see and experience. Like Disney, hotels in the park our expensive, and more reasonable outside the park. It’d probably take two days to hit the easy accessible highlights and vlog it. I’d love to see your and Casey’s take on it.
