Would these work in a old house with plaster walls ?.

not impressed with the apparent cavalier attitude with eye safety, quite astonishing actually. I’m shocked you’re not wearing protective eyewear with 65 lbs hanging from a small drywall hook. perhaps you haven’t suffered an eye injury yet, but would highly recommend you start wearing true shatter proof eye gear when exposing your eyes to high risk environments with the potential to sustain devastating eye injuries up to and including blindness, perhaps from a metal hook fragment or high speed projectile of drywall, etc. this type of work environment and risk for industrial exposure to injury would usually be governed by OSHA, but not applicable if you work for yourself. I hope you have amazing health insurance and supplemental “accident” insurance which doesn’t always cover every type of “accident.” good luck to you.

How do they work in RVs with motion on the road? Different type of wall materials?

The claws are great, but I found I could not push them in with my thumbs. I have arthritis in the base of each, but gently tapping the fittings in worked, even if it was a bit nerve wracking.

You don't have to avoid studs right, even if over a stud its just attaching to the dry wall over the stud right

if you expect something pointy to pop out of a wall with 30lbs pulling it you should probably wear glasses

2 minutes for superior safety and weight isnt bad, but those 3m are good for temporary like movie sets

45 years ago at college, my room mates put nails all over My Uncles rental house.... hanging pictures and junk .. , in order to get our deposit back we knew we needed to patch all the nail holes, Someone came up with the idea to use mashed up Aspirins and a little water to make a paste.. push with your finger a little dab in the nail hole and you could never even see that anything had happened..
When my oldest son went to college ,, I contacted my cousin and asked if they still had the rental house , and if so could my son rent it? YUP.. I went to the house and told my cousin about our nail filler method..we had a good laugh.... the house walls had been fixed and painted many many times over the 45 years since I was there, but cousin said he remembers my uncle saying that we left the place in perfect condition with no nail holes or damage..... Aspirin... more than one use..

I have had like 5 paintings fall off the walls because I was using the 3M sticky tape. I love building furniture and doing home repairs - my least favorite thing is hanging pictures!! haha
These look like a God send - I'm going to buy 100 of them! My only thought is - will they work with all types of paintings? You may need to install a small wire on the back of the painting to make sure that it can get on the hook. Still, that's a small concern. Thanks!!

Kinda sad you didn't show us how to use the foam markers that come with these hooks to help you position the hook exactly where you want it.

I’d love to know the trick on plaster walls. I moved to a 70 year old home and cannot drill a hole with an electric drill (didn’t even bother trying with a battery drill). All I want to do is hang pictures 🥲

These are great, quick, reusable and minimal wall damage. The only issue I have is being careful to not pull outward on the hanger. For example, take a picture that has the typical wire on the back that you need to hook onto the hanger. In trying to hook it and adjust the picture, you can pull outward accidentally and the hanger can start to pull out of the wall. So just be careful of that.

These are awesome!! I didn’t even know these existed!! Will come in super handy as a renter!

Ps. Would these work as a way to secure a furniture wall anchor? Or possibly a way to install smaller rear speakers to the wall for HT but without leaving big screw holes?

Still love my plastic "corkscrew" wall anchors for mounting things other than pictures that stand off the wall like TV mounts, though.

in Germany we have walls made of bricks, you cant stick sth in it with your thumbs.

I NEED THESE RIGHT NOW! My walls are made from plaster so weak I've even had anchors failing to hold my electric heater but I haven't dared hanging mirrors. I'm going to give these a try!
