2023 Rimworld Mods You Cant Live Without!

I've tried a bunch of mods and honestly owning all the dlc makes me feel like I need mods less, just character editor to make "myself"

Huge QoL mods that you don't realize you need until you realize you need.
De-Roof mining. Adds a new order that removes the roof above a tile before they mine it. Combine this with a mod that gives you the ability to remove "thick" roofs, and you'll never lose a colonist to a cave-in while mining ever again.

Remove map build limit or w/e it's called - Build all the way to the edge of the map. Yep. While you ~can~ break the game's balance easily by forcing raids to spawn in where you want them, it's also just... the greatest QoL mod ever because you can actually build your roads to the map edge, etc.

That one Mlie original mod that lets you say no to caravans.

Inventory. Inventory tab? Show Inventory? W/E it's called. Gives you a list of every item in your stockpile with searchable bars. Yep.

RPG style inventory - While you may initially be thinking "hey, this is just a UI change", it's so much more than that - It lets you VERY easily see what slots a pawn has equipped something in and what slots they have nothing equipped in, in what's IMHO a WAY easier way than vanilla or other mod options. I legitimately don't think I'll ever be able to play Rimworld without this one again.

Vanilla expanded really dos take the cake tho, they just added there own version of the Hemogen Extractor and its honestly a lot more evil if u use it wrong.

The way you talk like a lispy 13 year old makes me want to search my house for a sturdy enough frame in the wood-work to hang myself from.

Why is the warhammer mod a live without mod? I can live without it. It's incredibly specific and you don't need it in slightest.

mod to look foward to is the VE vehicles mod collab, can't tell me you can build a space ship but are unable to restore those wrecked cars/tanks and use them

Issue with SRTS mods are that you skip the journey and all encounters but animals are often way to hard to keep alive in ambushes if you have to kite anything

Rimjobworld is the most needed mod in 2023 xD

I’ve installed so many of these at once that my computer is chugging now. I think I need to stop trying to use ALL of them at once.

It’s so hard to have a magic fueled world with high-noon gunfights using plasma weapons on the backs of dragons while upgraded mechanoids fly in and crash into your local Ancient Danger.

I am coming back to playing Rimworld after a hiatus, and what I really want is a basic plug and play mod list. Maybe even a few themed options, like Magic or Androids.

Hmmm... what of a "mods for specific playthroughs" video? Directly Abandon Settlement or Set Up Camp for nomadic playthroughs, Fog of War + Silent Raids for constant paranoia, VOID for masochism, etc.

alpha genes is my new favorite mod. i love the new races and genes even though i am running a ytakkin colony in a tundra, love when the new races show up, lots of possibilities for my genetic warcrimes.

If you play with Alpha Genes watch out for Space Battles or Shuttle Crashes. Sometimes you´ll find someone with the "Chaotic unstable Mutation" Gene. It changes all their Genes everyday. You can Rip that Gene and implant it into Prisoners to turn them into Gene Lootboxes.

Honestly I just recently got I to rimwold my God the modding community is legit. I even want to start donating cuz the quality is so good
