try a normal biquad antenna, like the VAS 5.8 biquad. its verry good possible that it outperformes all the above tested antennas

Just noticed Aomway and RealAcc have brought out a disc shaped LHP/RHP patch in a single unit. They provide a long cable which makes you look like a Dalek. It also needs a SMA dummy terminator. Both came out after FarView made the original open source version.

What about using the Diamond on the RX side when on the plane there is a cloverleaf RHCP?

on the AKK 5.8G 14dBi swap metal bolts for plastic and reduce spacers to 1mm and re test i think you will be supprised how mutch better it is

It doesn't surprise me that the Aomway stood out. I have been using this for my quads and running a dipole on the quad. The other antenna I use is LHCP VAS Ion on goggle and TBS LHCP on quad and usually the linear antenna gets better reception than the LHCP, but only by a small margin. Thanks for shooting this test, even though I am a YEAR behind on commenting! LOL

anyone else notice that after he said he stuck with the left port that the aomway was flown on the right port and swapped to the left for the next antenna 😁. Makes no difference to the test, just funny after he said what he said.

I've bought an amoway diamond because of this video, it arrived today and I'm looking forward to testing it, I know my reception bubble very well where I fly and the difference or lack of it will be very clear immediately.

Hi , I’m new to fpv and planning to go long range in fact I’m half way to long range ( still unhappy with my 1.2g range results ) . I’m kind a lost right now thought about switch to Aomway 5.8 but which one is better for long range ? I seen some pilot using 5.8 and insanely good range im hopping to get at least minimum 10km currently my setup is cheap Partom 1.2 1000mw rx/tx stock antenna for rx and diy dipole for rx the range is 4km solid video (countryside) but when I fly above the populated areas only reach 2km . What recommendation rx antenna ? I had this yagi or patch in mind but do antenna tracker is a must with this antenna?

My Hunch is that the miko antennas are suffering from a case of Marketing bullshit

The best antennas are handmade by Flossmann wlan_antenne in the eBay Store under 5.8 GHz Biquad, new is the 5.8 yagi !!! I have been the biquad on the receiver for years. There is nothing comparable to the price. Absolute tip.

Good evening, this antenna can be used on the hubsan h501s x4 standard version drone. To improve fpv drone reception. 5.8Ghz, I can use this antenna. Aomway - - Does it work for the hubsan h501s.
