The older ones handle great for me. I have restored 1986 dr600 beast. These newer ones are built weak
Ответитьthat bike is so cool. i'll give you change tires out for sure. but i'll never ride like you in the southern nevada desert. that place looks great! good video.
ОтветитьWheelies and whatever on a trail ride 😊ok !! What’s the point ??
ОтветитьWish we could get the xr 650l in Australia
Ответить🇮🇳❤👌❤👌❤👌❤
ОтветитьNice looking country you have there.
ОтветитьJust found this amazing video, then saw its 7 years old 😊!
ОтветитьI love it what modifications can I do to get more horsepower out of my 99 drs 650cc
ОтветитьStefan Hessler
Ответитьperjalanan yang menyenangkan..... ayo,, keliling Indonesia.
Ответитьaussies are weird
ОтветитьCan you add aftermarket ABS brakes to the DR? I had abs on last bike that saved me and my niece after a wallaby jumped right out in front of me, so I’m not really interested in any bike that doesn’t use abs. Thanks, loving your content!
ОтветитьSit down wheelies are way more comfortable to me. Trying to wheelie while standing seems scary as shit
ОтветитьCome on the suspension isn’t made for jumping. Overall its not as bad as you let on.
ОтветитьMy kinda guy! Nice bike nice wrist action
ОтветитьWish i could get my hands 🙌 on one 😍 🥲
Ответитьi dont usually 'like' videos, but when i do its because you bloody well earnt it. Great detail and footage of actual riding while talking
ОтветитьMy bush pig is mostly street.
ОтветитьAwesome video very informative and entertaining!!
ОтветитьYou guys talking about “heavy”. Try riding an R1200GSA around for a while and picking it up a few times, and you’ll be looking at the DR and and the DRZ saying, “200-250lbs LIGHTER? OMG sign me up!”).
ОтветитьYou Bag it out but it's still a very capable bike in stock form.. I'm on my 3rd in 25 years and never felt the need to do any mods other then a $17 muffler upgrade of a mini moke. . I ride with a bunch of blokes on Euro trash bikes (eg Huskys,KTM) Whom have all the fruit but yet can't seem to match the bush pig in the tight trails or sand. The right rider makes anything possible on a stock bike.
ОтветитьSeems FFR are not around anymore, No one seems to be able to contact them. Just when I'm about to do a suspension upgrade. The Dr's are on the lighter side of adventure bikes that's why I got 1. But nothing is light when you have to pick it up from its side.
ОтветитьI hope you cranked a few out back too back when you reached your destination!
ОтветитьYou import guys love these Enduros
Ответить @Cross Training Enduro so, ive noticed a couple of things about my DR. it has a digital dash where every other DR ive seen just has a round speedo. it's also a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed. problem is if i google 1998 DR250rx i cant find the bike or any information about it. any ideas/info/links? cheers.
Ответитьso i have officially joined the DR club. its not a 650 tho, im my old age i dont think i have the skill or stamina for a 650 so i found a mint 1998 dr250r with full service history and only 19,000kms on it. i think this will be enough to ride on some dirt tracks and challenge my lack of fitness 👌
ОтветитьWow I miss my 93 dr idk why I bought a 600 silver wing I crashed it now buying a dr 650 so fun
ОтветитьWhen you see that this was 6 years ago, back when real life or something like it was a thing :(
ОтветитьYou are an incredible rider. These issues will be major issues for inexperienced riders, spinning the tires, bottoming out, etc., and you accelerate through them. Truly impressive. I have an 02 dr650 that I will never sell. I sold my 98 xt350 and I kick myself everyday for it.
ОтветитьIs the suspension really that bad?
ОтветитьDude was just waiting to die on stock suspension 🤣
ОтветитьI just got a 21 i hate the stock tires what are good tires for sandy dirt roads and trails and street ?
ОтветитьMine is an enduro full floater dr 125 it can reach hoghway speeds and its amazing offroad. Youd think the 650 would be better
ОтветитьHad a 93 KLR and then several street bikes. Retired and went back to a DS, but this time a 2021 DR. They are a good time. Do you guys delete the upper chain rollers?
ОтветитьAfter watching this video I’ve realized that the DR is 1000% more capable off road than I am. I’m not worried about mods anymore until my skill level improves. Nice riding!
ОтветитьHe's worried about the suspension but he's not even on the ground LOL
ОтветитьReally not much heavier than my Chinese hawk 250... Might have to sell it and get one of these lol. That hawk leaves me wanting a little more quality and top speed.
ОтветитьI love this video !! 🤣🤣🤣 so much fun! Omg !
Ответить“It wheelies as well as I remember it did” 😀🇦🇺✌️
ОтветитьHa man. Great vid. I’ve been looking at buying a 650, but I’m torn. You make it look good bro
ОтветитьYes you CAN put lipstick on a pig!
But it’s still a pig.
How can a bike be called enduro with street suspension?
ОтветитьGreat job freaking awsome area to ride in.
ОтветитьIf you want to drive like that yes the suspension needs work, but for the type of riding I do it is a dream at 71 yr, love the soft suspension, great for the back, I do off road but go slow and enjoy the scenery, but you are wright about the tires going down a hard packed at gravel at 80 kn and in to soft sand can be scary, but the worst thing about the DR 650 is the small gas tank, can't go for a good ride with out looking for gas stations, witch are hard to find were I like to ride. I am just waiting for my new 2020 DR 650 it is hear but want every thing on it before I pick it up. The only thing is I will leave the stock tires on till I ware them out, should not take all that long, Have a Versys X 300 great bike but want to feel the wind more so will keep it for cold weather and rain days. also have a Suzuki S 40 , love it to but small tank as suspension not good for rough roads. So when I get the Dr It will most likely be my main ride, well be able to feel the wind on my chest and great soft suspension for those rough roads, and like the Versys X I will have it set up for the Treker hard bags.
Ответитьspoke to the guys at FFRC just last week regarding a new DR650 to me. Couldn’t get better information and nicer guys to have a chat with. Went with FFRC after seeing the 50 ft jump a DR650 did after being sorted out with their ‘plex valve and upgraded springs, and magic to the rear shock’.
ОтветитьHey man who do you recommend anyone for DR650 suspension work in the USA? I know that may sound like a stupid question but it seems you are the DR guru
ОтветитьLurking through old vids😆
ОтветитьHow do you only have 190k subscribers? These vids are excellent! Informative and entertaining. Bloody love it
