vocals at the beginning sounds somewhat like james hatfield the music sounds similar to inflames getting this cd

This song is one of the best from the aughts in my opinion. I wish BtE put out more material. I also love Embers Astray and Bastard Screams. I like this LP because it was more melodic metal. The follow up (Insects) was too southern rock-ish for my tastes. That was a weird trend in the late aughts I noticed... quite a few metalcore bands went in a Pantera-like southern sludgy direction. Not sure why that trend occurred but I did not appreciate it at all.
