Park your money in a non interest bearing COI makes no sense. Not a very good way to stay ahead of inflation. Better with FDIC protected high interest a CD's. Today people are more worried about the solvency of the Treasury than the banks. If the CD is not safe than neither is a CIO!

People are taking out money from the bank because it's not safe anymore. Why would you want to keep the money in the bank ???
If you still want to do it. Use credit union. They are much better.

So I am new to this. So for example an SPAXX, are you reported and taxed on dividends if you select to have them reinvested? I currently have a high yield savings paying 4% but wanting to move over to fidelity to either cd’s , money market or mutual funds to earn a better return. I am also in the middle of transferring my Wells Fargo ira in which I am paying them $300 plus per month to do nothing over to fidelity and maybe putting that in mutual funds. So many options for someone raw

I like PNC block from my home they give you up to 10 pm to make sure you have enough money in your checking account before they charge you overdraft fee.

Which US banks are good if you move to another country such as Thailand, Vietnam or the Philippines? I’ve heard that people have problems logging in and get locked out of their accounts for months. One problem is when you login they want to send a verification code to your US phone number. That’s a problem if you no longer have a US phone

None of our banks are the "Safest Banks" since all of them received free taxpayers' money in 2008.

If you live in the North West I highly recommend Umpqua Bank. They are extremely well run, really have great customer service and a rising stock price that pays a stable dividend. They also have been expanding without negative consequence to their balance sheet. My rating on this bank is 92%.

Non of those banks are close to where I live and they are not close to anyplace that is not a large city. Truist is the biggest bank to where I live.

The problem with some of the big banks, they've become too political and are debanking people because they don't like their political views. Pretty tyrannical.
