I'm so grateful that we even have the opportunity to play such a wonderful game on console but your videos always make sad. Throw us bone and add some of the more popular mods.

What do you do about the fridge mod not being supported in 1.4?

As someone who got into Rimworld this month, it's crazy to think about how many features 1.4 added which I just take for granted.

How do you delete mods that were subscribed from stteam workshop and will it disappear completely?

Good video. I haven't seen any video explaining each change. Would be interested in one that shows features of the new expansion. Maybe even the previous ones. Mods being broken are not sad at all and irrelevant. There's no need for mods in this game other than maybe the character creation.

The real nice improvement is that loadtime, I went from 20+ minutes with my 200+ mods to about ~9 minutes with 4/5 of the mods being updated. So I'm taking it that once the remaining mods get uplifted to 1.4 overall load time will be about 10ish minutes, which is still pretty slow, though that's still half the original waiting time it used to be.

Now I only need to play one match of Pokemon Unite waiting in the meanwhile instead of two. Still, much better than the inconsistent match time one could get with League...

Another thing I noticed is that where it shows how infatuated you are with cooking, artistic, shooting, etc there are different passions including apathy and critical.

what I find most unfortunate about the game is that people feel like they need to have 300+ mods.

Like, a lot of the mods I have are common sense time-savers and should be part of the base game. What are the devs even doing? lol

A neat new ui thing that I noticed while playing was I clicked on a fence and it popped up the option to build an animal post. That took me off guard, but I guess your video explains that. Overall it, and other things like that, will save me time searching for contextual buildings and will make it less likely I'll forget to build something I need/intended to.

haha same about the mods but thankfully a lot of them have been updated, but there are a couple that arent that are very missed

Just trying out the dlc with the same mods as a month ago and thankfully most of the big ones as of today are working. Waiting for the rest might not be worth it like hospitality (try tenants), combat extended and android tiers.. seems like dubs bad hygiene has a thirst issue which you can just disable for now leaving a chalk outline for any drink related items while waiting for an update to that Mod. Very happy prison labor is back so recruits can roam around without being locked up. Anyone else have any game breaking mods they wanna see updated for 1.4?

Yeah that's THE MOST annoying thing of this game. Every time a new version - all the mods are out. How did they not get this right in the 1st place. Also still no minimap as core feature. I would love to see a version where you can build double story buildings. Similar to the underground mod.

new update does not bring much real change for me and nothing mods could not fix anyways, I suppose the best chance is less lag but other than that, not much.

Pretty new to the game only played 30ish hours, not started on any DLC, so this is just a basic reset for me and relearn some little bits lol

There is an Interface option to display the weapons each pawn is holding (displayed below their names at the top of the UI) either; when drafted, or always on. I leave it Always On so I can always see who has (or lacks) a specific weapon.

I love the new robot friends.

The missile swarm turret appears to shoot upwards so you could probably hide it behind a wall and shoot swarms of missiles towards the enemies while behind safty.
